Update : Attempt failed @ Rajan, yes battery checked and its perfect. Reason, mod explained on XDA is for GSM phone. CDMA board is different. Bought Rs 250 soldering iron and opened phone with hope that I will be able to do as mentioned. But when opened phone realized that photo is atleast 15 - 20 times the actual board. I could not see practically any resistor properly with 4X magnifier, so had to use 20X industrial microscope to see circuit Circuit in CDMA board is entirely different than that of GSM so could not do any thing, just reassembled phone and posting this.

Though this is end less topic, I would like to mention my definition off brahm or existence, I believe it is beyond existence of human, matter by default has memory or information storage and retrival system, our DNA themselves are made of atomic substances like electron, proton and neutrons. They can replicate, assign jobs and what not. So soul or Brahma or existence lies in each particle. Therefore we were even before we born and we will be even after death. BTW I am except for above definition I am aethist absolutely aethist. Since last 28 years of my life.

This problem is epidemic in Nexus S, as I understand from xda and other forums. Mainly when phone is on ICS or JB. Toady my nexus s 4g went dead for no reason, I was trying to make a call, screen got disstorted and stopped responding. S free few seconds I had to remove battery as nothing was happening, now it is not turning on at all. No bootloader or download mode nor os is coming up. Any help about possible ways to make it on?

Have you ever dialed ##786, I remember that HTC phone do nor accept prl after this code. After hero I have not used any HTC phone so not sure now after so many years. One option could be flashing with ruu and check.

Will it be sufficient to charge a phone like S3 ? Usually these batteries are 5.1 V DC and phone batteries get full at 4.2V so 5.1 become about 4.7 V where as batteries are full at 4.2 V max.- 6,376 replies

Nexus s 4G has poorest radio I have seen. Updating prl can not resolved voice quality problem. Reliance is very liberal about prl used so unless there is no network or no evdo prl may not solve any of your problems. -

Use qxdm there along with number you will get to know name of nv as well. Then decide which all nv are specific to handset and specific to min Nv are not dependent on meid or there is no algorithm on which nv are generated except password etc.

After market extended batteries need re calibration of voltage vs % displayed. I have seen such mods on xda. If you use such mods I have seen most extended batteries gives good performance. Because of basic quality of cell used, they do not yield as much as they should. But if battery is having double the capacity, and it gives about 150-175% performance. So go for reasonably priced batteries rather than going for brand alone. In past I had made one external battery from 3X laptop battery cells having whooping 9700 mah and worked wonderful. I I have dead battery with me still. I can post photo if some one wants to see. When I made it, it was made for nokia pin charger, and now a days micro usb chargers need little more planned execution of concept. such external battery packs are available on ebay, croma etc.

I have experienced that engine performance decline faster with cng , however it does not deteriorate so much that require engine reconditioning. Resale value of petrol car in general is less, so can not comment. Ideally conversion cost is about 50 to 60 k, and 1kg of cng runs about 1.5 times 1 liter of petrol. So you can calculate your break even Modern engine are robust but sensitive and cheap retrofitter temper with wiring which is not desirable. Because ECU of mid segment car cost more than 35 k, more for premium cars. Tempered wiring can cause ecu failures.
