    Ics may be better - I don't know. in GB Gmail client has bug where mail get stuck in..... Sending mode. Mail get delivered but status in outbox remain unchanged.

    Maildroid is better than K9, I used K9 for 3 years but now Maildroid has became better. Stock Gmail client s**ks.

  7. ICS support OMH sim but no data. Have zeroed NV item 8035? it is must for HDR to stick Load attached NV using CDMA WS 2.7 and then reload your dump. 8035.txt
  8. GSM radio is unlocked on droid razr max when updated to OTA ICS, i.e. 6.16.211 however if you are using RAZR / MAXX on CDMA with GB and EVDO is working do not upgrade to OTA STOCK ICS unless you have verizon LTE SIM. EVDO / CDMA data breaks after ICS upgrade and as on now there is no solution unless you have LTE SIM.

    @ kanaga Thanks Maxx has good battery life - comparatively - not sure because 1500 mAh photon battery last 10-14 hours in moderate use, so Maxx may last 1.7 times of it max. Any detailed review may help me, will check tomorrow My today's battery on 2 GSM (ASSUMING EVDO IS CULPRIT IN BATTERY LIFE) I AM WRONG on CDMA EVDO its couple of hours less. :-(

    Quality gsm / CDMA radio module costs 75-100$, that's why nexus tab is not bonded to any network hence operator's pound of flesh is not charged from us.

    vandanji, pl post review of extended battery I am so annoyed with battery life of Android that if I do not get quicker solution, I may switch to BB / iphone - which I really do not want to.
  17. I am not expert but I have used in past com port listener to extract communication. Try that method to see what dfs is doing

    I am using my GSM number as standby only and frankly reliance network performance is far better than airtel, idea and docomo GSM (in preferred priority). I have switched my GSM number from airtel - docomo - vodafone - idea and found vodafone most congested but best network signal strength , Airtel highly fluctuating probably because of 1800 mHz here, docomo uses videocon and aircel for 2G so pathatic, 3G where available excellent - poor indoor coverage though. Idea is average and stable amongst all in Ahmedabad Anyways, my logic to discuss this was to let other members make informed decision about data charges on GSM. It take away all joy of simplicity of GSM when slapped with huge data bill

    LTE has long way to go - where are handsets? Also LTE has biggest problem to address, i.e. battery life.
