Update: after going thru entire thread at xda, found that rooting is possible by flashing cwm by odin and SU in recovery So on EF02 since 15 mins. First post on rimweb. Not yet tested extensively. people are so put off with FROYO fiasco on EPIC that now most of them are waiting for scape goats. I am happy with EE03 though its slower but it makes epic stable and more usable with working GPS

@ Rajan I ordered LG Fathom for my friend who wanted really a SMART phone for cheap, it seems to be great phone at 6k, 1 GHZ CPU, 256 MB RAM and good screen resolution. I dont know if android user will like WM6.5 or not but for entry it seems to be a great phone.

Brief facts EPIC EE05 GB ROM EE05 Radio Using EE05 since the day it was leaked Stability compared to ECLAIR : Almost same except for speed Else no other problems I faced in Froyo. GPS excellent Problem : Morning EPIC suddenly rebotted and radio went off How much ever I tried (Few reboots, hard reset, airplane mode, changed HDR / PPP / Provisioning date) - I could not switch ON RADIO. Radio version became unknown Flashed radio EE05 using ODIN and thing started working perfectly.

why all India while discussing any issues talk about luxury, money, empire etc? What is the value of person who has not accumulated wealth of fame, repute and money? Person who has accumulated all three has more impact on society. Also for any movement money, publicity and public support are three key elements. Even Gandhiji - after coming to India, first thing he did was collect money from his supporter to buy press. With those two he could get third element - i.e. public support. Look at the people around even Anna Hazare? He is surrounded by all rich - rather stinking rich people. They may or may not be bad or wrong but this how we know to perceive. Thats why almost every one talk about Ramdev's empire in terms of its money, luxury is another dimension of money only. Why such paradox? Whats so wrong in luxury - if earned by own caliber and hard work?? If donation given by people is so callled black money why bother, ideally speaking money is always earned by exploitation - Hope I am not touching hornets nest by this statement !!!!! Also in my opinion money remained in our country is not black money but it becomes black as soon as they leave Indian Shore. Money in economy is money in any ways you look at. Just because one government department say that money which you are talking about is not known to us, its black money its nonsense. By this yard stick all unknown storage of gold, silver, precious stones since centuries must not have any value and must be declared BLACK money by IT department. Our concern should be that in democracy every one has right to express their opinion within constitutional limitations and also has right to protest. Government also has right to refuse / withdraw permission due to various concerns. But no one has right to violence. Be it government of people.

@ kapildev Very nice info. NiMN can be charged very fast using high frequency chargers. NiMH charging is trickier than NiCd or lithium batteries. Fast chargers are very convinient when batteries are likely to be used in camara or while traveling. Its not democratic and must be condemned. Wether supporter or not. I know most o the people support any movement against corruption. I have a feeling that behind this created chaos, 2G accused will be freed by courts. Then this chaos will calm down. In past before about 3-4 years, I had bought ENERGIZER charger for 4 AA sized battery. It was very fast and rapid cahrger. Was able to charge 4 X 2500 mAH NiMH batteries in 60 minutes flat. It also has individual battery sensors. Means if one battery is charged, it will disconnect that battery and will provide trickle charging so if one forget to remove battery and keeps charger ON, battery will not loose charge like usual chargers. I have used sony charger too. But no comparision of this ENERGIZER charger with SONY.
