An EXTREMELY important issue. With such laws we are equal only on paper. People who pass such laws should be guillotined. How they are allowed to become law itself is an outrage. I wish to remind RIMwebians that while lending so much support to Anna's movement, please also just go thru these biased laws and how they have been misused. If they do not bring a feeling of outrage in you then there is no hope. Do not wait until you or someone you care about is a victim. Until such laws exist, males are just 3rd class citizens in this holy land. Can only hope that those outraged against corruption here will feel equally, if not more outraged by such laws and come out in support of kshah. Thanks. Will PM u draft tomorrow. New proposed work place laws are equally dangerous.

I will be greatful if some one can solve my problem with FROYO Irrespective of version or ROM I use, if its froyo, my phone incoming ringtone will silence if I have one missed call. In some ROM, clearing notification will bring back ring tone. In some ROM it will not ring itself. In EC05, incoming notification is never there. Please help. I see many people complaining so on other forums. Due to this reason I am not able to switch to FROYO for more than 2 hours.

Sir mat bolo. It sould work but not working for me. Interesting thing is when I try to root, on screen it shows some junk charecter and error next to it. I formatted cache still rooting fails.

Some how rooting EC05 fails on my device. Which ever process I use.

Apart from other differences evdo means stable, freedom to use net inside room but no freedom to switch handset as easily. 3GSM means freedom to switch handsets any time but no freedom to use internet inside the room. ;-) So choice is ours.

Tata Docomo in Ahmedabad is using videocon network (405-827) so since last 10 days I see Roaming mark when logged on to 2G network, in 3G however roaming mark goes off. http://mcc-mnc-india.blogspot.com/ Videocon has very very poor network so even DoCoMo services are equally poor. Very congested and choppy network. 3G is having inherent problem of 2.1 Ghz (poor indoor coverage). Blackberry services offered by DoCoMo is not at all reliable so before choosing DoCoMo be careful. Tata DoCoMo network code is 405-30 and its available only on UMTS (3G)

Come 90 days will port docomo to voda or idea. Who ever offer 3G better. One thing I fail to understand is why CDMA background telco wants their customers to visit their store for every small resolution? In airtel in 3 years I have not visited store once for problem where as in docomo I visited twice in 10 days. Their CC has no empowerment. Airtel CC was empowered to do any damn thing including passng reversal of 1400 plus 100 (additional gesture) within 4 hours of complaint

Any 1800 or 2100 mhz network has call drop issue. It becomes frequent as network load increases as cell foot print drops.

You mean to say they blocked all rworld passwords? If so what official handset users will do? Blackberry data plans? Heard of wm plans.

Not only blackberry, even gmail and yahoo mail's web interface should be put under scanner. In web based mails, they no longer attach IP address of sender in headers. This leaves mails untraceable. IMO, web based mails are one of the biggest security threat.

I have 2 cordless phones with answering machines. One is sony, digital answering machine. Second one is with 2 wireless handset, digital answering machine, intercom, phone book etc. Both has range problem. Both can be used as answering machine of cordless phone in one room.

IMO rebooting is problem of FROYO, my Droid PRO too reboots atleast once a day (Wakeful hours)
