I checked using Opera Mini on Nokia N82 and it seems to be displaying fine. The Opera Mini version was 4.2.14320 I have attached a few screenshots from Opera Mini It looks good on Opera Mini, no issue about display but can not add quick reply. You know using full fledge browser on GPRS is not possible. I dont know how to take screen shot yet on my new N97 else would have posted screen shot.

Looks really good and fresh but new software do not work well with Opera Mini on E71 and N97 both. Is there any thing you can do Arun - on server side? You know accessing discussion forums using pathetic GPRS is pain in A**. And not accessing RIMWeb leaves me lost. Please do something if possible.

Once MNP will come in existance, ON NET concept will change entirely, then one has to say on which network he is on - if opted for MNP. I have seen business cards, where they mention network name for their phone numbers.

Linux based open sources has longway to go despite powerful and capable core. Linux community is too fragmented and diverse. So very confusing. Android is good OS but devices are launched with premature OS.

^^ Its observations in general.a. ARPU for prepaid is half the postpaid. There are people who are so concerned about number change so remain stuck. Me despite being postpaid user, I always change numbers when ever I am dissatisfied with service providers.

Reason for prepaid could be because all operators would want their prepaid customers to spectrum squatting. And prepaid customers are least loyal - me as postpaid user not loyal as well.

I thinks its pretty fair. 90 days locking or porting charges, billing etc. I have a feeling that initially they will not offer it to prepaid customers but surely they will provide MNP to all. New operator will charge again for lifetime validity , I also feel that lifetime charges will increase once MNP comes. Because that wway they will try to retain customers.

Thought I am atheist, I don't say religion has no value. Its our interpretation which makes religion bad. But humans, who want power and wants to fulfill their personal greed and need make religion much smaller than what it should be. Science is part of religion. As religion never says to believe in what is said without question. Differentiating between science and religion means underestimating importance of faith (faith in every thing around). Faith is something deeper than we know perhaps - if we do not have faith in medicine or food it will not work the way it should. Faith is our own suggestions to our own brain. With respect to all religions across the world - I have a belief that Hinduism is perhaps most open minded religion - in vedik form - not current. Perhaps it is the only religion on this earth which allows follower to question existence of god. I take opportunity with this little emotional thread to thank Arun and all other members who has been helping each other to keep this forum clean and green... There are occasional hiccups, but that's the part of any group discussion. I still wonder, how admin group is meeting expenses of keeping rimweb on. if they have enough incomes due to few ads of google then its fine. If they are spending any money from their pocket then its responsibility of all rimwebians who says they love this place to share burden equally atleast. I am sure that amount is going to be very small.

Comparision between second and minute based charges is not possible. What if some operator give you half the price per minute but 1 hour as pulse rate? Imagine your billing????

BTW what I did was changed SID / NID pairs and Primary and secondary channels. Unfortunately Palm Treo do not give access to these parameters. Its easy to change all these parameters in PPC.

Hi, I got 15 days free trial for 15 days from BSNL> They came and handed me modem. Its simple to install. Infact no installation is required. Speed yet to test extensively. Just have a look at speed test. I tested my Airtel BB and BSNL WIma side by side and they both seems to be comparable. Tomorrow will test for downloads of torrent (I dont use much except for downloading audio books) and also big files from other servers.o be Both are said to be 2 mbps BSNL WiMax Airtel BB

BSNL has best plans amongst all operators. Because they have few non complicated plans they are not attractive. In airtel I get 2 mbps, 10 GB plan for 1200 plus compulsory 200 voice add on. Where as BSNL was charging 1200 for 8 GB + 4 GB free after 6 months. Same plan but no complications.

I got free trial because in our industrial area they are offering free trial to the factories having plot area larger than some size. I don't know size. As pre commercial launch.

Dear Mr. K Shah, Tata Tele and RCOM can roam on each others networks provided they both have signed Roaming Agreement with each other. I'm sorry, I don't have any information with regard to that. Roaming agreements commonly are used where no one company can offer complete national and international coverage. I just wanted to know, if they have roaming agreement than initial network problems are addressed for people who are roaming. That can get you high value clientel. I am also planning to switch to Tata DOCOMO when launcched in Gujarat and I am sure MNP will come in the mean time.

Can tata and reliance Gsm subscribers roam on other networks?

Grow tree where ever we can. and how much ever we can 2. reduce consumption of detergent and water as much as possible. Bathing with plain water (I have not used soap since last 7 years, to wash hair I use ARITHA / SATRITHA) reduces water polutions and environmental degradation. 3. Use new high quality flushing system which uses as less water as possible. (Un fortunately I am not able to convince my family members too for this matter - to avoid using flush / flush only once 4. Recycle / reuse as much material as possible. Using metal containers / utensils over ceramics and plastic is eco friendly. Ceramic is ecofriendly only if used for more than 1000 times. Else disposible plastic is more eco friendly. I am not promoting plastics - please be advised. Sorry I can write essay on this and bore you. But better we wake us as early as possible. We have to look in to ways to check population rise too.
