I mentioned about AVG 8.5 with identity theft protection (malware protection ) which had conflict with widows defender. I disabled windows defender as well as AVG 8.5 identity theft protection and system is perfectly stable - perhaps as stable as WIN XP. Win7 seems to be faster than XP and appear to have better battery life too.

My earlier windows 7 installation was hanging. so this time I was little more particular and found that if you are using AVG 8.5 then identity theft protection of AVG and windows defender are doing same job and creates problem. So I disable windows defender and windows started working without problem. Else windows explorer was used to crash every time you start.

Today suddenly outlook (Office XP) stopped loading. Please see attached screen shot for error message. I did following but nothing works 1. Repaired MS office 2. Reinstalled MS Office. 3. Removed IE and Outllok express from windows setup. 4. Reinstalled IE and outlook express from windows component setup 5. Installed IE-8 Nothing works. Any solution? Outlook express starts perfectly. Office works perfect. Windows works normally

You were right - I installed / reinstalled windows, Office, IE 6, IE8 edited registry as found on web. None worked. Finally formatted and installed winoften.dows 7 Off topic. If you install windows 7 and using AVG 8.5, disable either Identity theft protector in AVG or WindowsDefender in Windows 7. If both are active, then windows 7's explorer.exe crashes very often

Nothing nice about it. I think every one is delaying 3G by changing mind every now and Then. Thinking about 12 operator per circle is ridiculous. In fact no telecom operator is interested in 3G. with such low ARPU after 10 years of cellular services (about 200 and 400 for prepaid and post paid respectively ) I think investing in 3G is certainly not affordable at this revenue level. Also 3G means VOIP too. VOIP is not in hands of cartel so they are delaying 3G. I am sure 3G will not be there in India for another year or so.

I installed Windows 7 and removed from system today after usage of about 24 hours. Actual problem begun after installing AVG 8.5 and printer drivers. After installation I got explorer.exe error for not less than 20 times and every time I have to restart system. It can not find any solutions online / otherwise. I liked taskbar of WIN7 a lot. Also its faster than Vista. I think waiting for final release is worth. Its certainly appearing better than vista performance wise. Also driver support is better. My laptop was not supported by vista. Where as in WIN7all hardware were enabled.
