Hi, I need SIP settings for Net2Phone to use on my Nokia E71 There are other SIP services available but I have very old account with net2phone - unused and has balance of about US $ 20. SO I want to use it up. Now a days VOIP is not very cheap. I find calling cards (Prepaid) on my mobile more convinient. I tried following sip.net2phone.com whl.net2phone.com None works.

On gsm its pretty much possible. every one uses same type i.e. Li-Ion batteries. Difference in talk time is mainly due to chipsets and software. My experience is that nokia has best power management. very few nokia has battery problems. Usually phone has more than 18 sections for power management. SE too has good battery life but not as much as nokia.

Nokia email is good concept, but till now it was not as stable as BB. Blackberry is very stable but very expensive too (for common email users or SME's) Hope nokia sells its services at good affordable price.

^^^ True, rcom may be superior in time of activation as they might have very small subscriber base. Lets hope it remains so for longer. Else rcom GSM has not offered any thing new. Their GPRS is 2.5 times expensive than other GSM player.

In Airtel and for that matter any GSM operators can activate loads of facilities by network service commands (dialed as *CODE#) On airtel I can pay even bill using SMS / mCheck. I think CDMA networks do not support service commands.

If you want to send SMS only from PC and still cheaper (15 pasie per SMS) as well as incoming SMS need to be sent to your phone do following 1. Go to mundusms.com and open your account using your phone number. 2. confirm your phone number and verify using code you receive as SMS. 3. Download PC client and start sending SMS.

I agree with you but we all have atleast one fixed line. From where people can get number. MNP too will have its own issues for some time and succumbing to operators is not my cup of tea.

Why wait for MNP. Call forward technique worked so well for me, I too changed my 4 years old number. Its not as difficult as we think.

With increasing cellular connections, voip can not be successful unless operators support. Telcos will increase data charges to combat voip - for sure. One can't expect wifi every where. Its 3G that can play vital role for voip.

Go or call customer care, ask them for PUK 1 code, enter given code to unlock sim. If you enter PUK code wrong then you need PUK 2 code, which will not be given to you.

Do you have cables and software for flashing? Try flashing in emergency mode. I don't now recollect exact key press sequence, but it is 9+power after connecting to flashing cable. Try googling "lg cdma emergency flashing"
