Not all Chinese brands are CHINESE. There are good brands who spend money on R&D. Big brands too copy each other and make clones. They do take care in differentiating their products a bit. Since I have witnessed many MNC and Indian big brands, I know how product development takes place especially when some one has come up with innovation. But still this generation is not as transperant and honest as current generation, whose age is less than 25 years. I am sure if our generation (I am 40 years) keeps faith of current generation alive, they will try throw away all dirty things in our society, like cast, creeds, dishonesty and many others - and generation next to them will live very happy life. We have yet 35-50 years to go to become super power. Power should be in hands of younger people. If you look at chandrababu and Narendra modi, they are younger so worked well in new environment. This happens because we vote parties not the person or ideology. Our great prime minister represent congress headed by SONIA GANDHI (For me she is still foreigner and I have objection she entering into parliament) Almost all parties have continued legacy of DEVIDE AND RULE of BRITISHER and we blindly follow them. They are interested in powerty, illiteracy and all problems to keep running their shops.

Lets discuss this as an India. Dont think any one can work at chip level. Its almost impossible and sheer waste of time and energy. It may be the flash time sent by handset matters. I am not sure, just a thought. Now since I have no treo, check if there is any ways to change flash timing or DTMF tone (Short, long and normal) It must be working on DTMF http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DTMF

I was not able to use call conference any ways. I tried a lot. Lot means LOT. 6 hours on specific day. COuld not succeed. I spoke to REL CC too, and tried method given by them (WHich is common for all handsets). http://www.rcom.co.in/webapp/Communication..._conference.jsp Also there were couple of apps too (may be easy conference / was in technician) but none worked. Flashed phone for sprint and verizon roms incl 700 and 755P roms.

I have tried a lot to use conference on treo, but could not succeed, I tried few software for conferencing too.

Moral of the story : Don't buy imported handsets (like Treo or Mogul). Just use our LG or NOKIA - only low end handsets.

Agreed, people in business will be probably more affected than one in job. As per my belief, this slow down is because of fear, this is not real for India. Last year Indian domestic saving has increased by 6% (From 23% to 29%) hence lesser money flow. Now this change in saving pattern is due to fear created because of global report. Else India has good monsoons since last 15 years (THis year it was about 90-95%) means no fear of reduced money flow. Anyway, perhaps one way to beat this slow down or may be recession is "BE INDIAN BYE INDIAN" because if you buy Indian stuff (As far as available) even if it is little expensive or even if we have to sacrifice little bit of quality. Never buy spurious cheap, illegally imported stuff, even if it is at throw away price (As long as one can afford) No need to be extravagant, but no need to be so insecure that one think of savings only. Spend judiciously, try to give business to people who are smaller, as money flow from DOWN TO UP, money always flows in upward direction. THESE ARE MY THOUGHTS DON'T LOOK AT STOCK MARKETS, ITS NOT INDICATOR OF ECONOMY.
