Me Slowly, for me now CDMA is becoming distant dream. E71 with Symbian is cool OS. Only touch screen is missing and little larger screen would have been wonderful.

This is how I shifted to GSM. I dierted all my calls to my new airtel number. GPRS is much slower than 1X in CDMA but certainly, its peace of mind.

Callrec do not causes such problem I have used it for year without problem. In PPC, Treo and even in Nokia E71, if you are dialing out and receive incoming all (if timings are precise) then your phone is likely to get hanged for atleast 20-30 seconds, can neither reject phone nor accept phone. Check your memory card too.

Tata, seems to be offering very realistic tarriff for Internet based applications and services. Hope they gives same after they migrate to GSM. They can take market head on, if can offer same pricing in GSM.

Using Diego, you can increase number of charecters in Nokia. But it is always split in two SMS and since that feature is not supported (LMS) by system for particular model, you can not be sure, if that message will be delivered in correct format - ALWAYS.

Is it problem with treo only or phones given by tata too? I think this could be problem with even tata supplied phones. Once you have PRL, SSD synced with network, only palm / OS handsets can not face problems in isolation.

Though I bought Nokia E71, I have seen queues on Nokia service station, where customer has to wait for 30-60 minutes before his phone is taken for repair. In CDMA they do not do any thing at service station, every thing is done at Delhi at exhorbitant cost. Nokia is very arrogant in India, because they have still more than 50% market share. Other manufacturers are so stupid that they woll keep nokia ahead of them. In GSM, Symbian has problem of restart. But I think restart problem is mainly to prevent phone from being hanged. In most cases corrupt card / cracked - bad software or poor programe symbian restart. Else Symbian is good stable OS.

^^^ @Basant My dear friend, as you know that Reliance Gsm services are going to start by next month, so in our opinion you should wait for atleast a month. Their's no problem to spend huge amount on Cdma handset, may be its palm or HTC. But now a days Network in Reliance CDMA seems to be worst. Call Drops are increased a lot. Network Fluctuation is a common problem in Reliance now a days. And Reliance people are not responding to Network issues in CDMA as they used to be. So, keep in mind these network issues with Reliance CDMA before buying any Cdma handset. Regards. This problem is not only in CDMA, its even in GSM. I think in GSM its more severe. I am ing this because I am using Airtel and Reliance. Still I must say network quality of Reliance is far better than Airtel and Vodaphone in terms of network congestion and call drops.

WMA and WMV are not supported by palm due to patent issues. WMV and WMA are not supported by even symbian OS. They can be streamed only but not on palm

CDMA in 10K with wifi, BT and 3.2 MP cam? Are you living in this century? Day dreaming is bad for health. I second mufddal. If browsing is not primery requirement, go for treo 755P. U will love it. It do not have FM too.

Opera mini works in most cases but in some cases it does not work. Treo is weaker only on browser front. You can use micro Sd card with mini Sd adaptor which are difficult to get. Treo support uptown 4 gb. I was never able to use conference feature on treo, wm phones. Was very easy on nokia. Call drops may be co incidental treo to me was better than nokia Removing battery is the only way to keep treo off. Use third party music players if you want to browse files and play. Core player is a good media player.
