According to me they deliberately sell such phones in cdma market. They may be wanting to prove that nokia, se and motorola only can make good, phones with matured os, may be its nerve game with qualcomm

E71 is indeed a good phone and missing front camara may not be a great issue as long as video calling is not available. Also Plastic construction and little thicker phone will be more convenient to hold. E71 is very robust but because its too thin, its at time difficult to hold. 3 mm audio jack will be great for music fans.

Then keep waiting .

1. Most lg phones are easy to crack 2. Samsung phone are amongst most difficult. 3. Nokia require special hardware, which cost about 15 k 4. Motorola too require special hardware. 5. Blackberries are not yet cracked.

Just now to check if STV works or not, I recharged my acount with Rs. 550 JADU STV and it worked. Surprisingly, in ICICI back you can not recharge following amount RELIANCE All Reliance Circles 149, 165, 200, 550 But in HDFC bank, I was able too. In ICICI maximum recharge limit is Rs. 5000 where as in HDFC bank, its Rs. 1000 I request other members to charge with other STV and post here. Treos has best battery life, atleast for 650, 700 and 755P. I have not seen battery life as amazing as Treo. Even my nokia E71 do not give battery life as good, despite being on GSM. Centro as small battery so smaller battery life.

Certainly, why not? I dont think reliace is giving any thing for free. They are subsidizing devices, which are locked.

Follow this procedure 1. Open default browser and go to any web page. 2. Open google maps. Opera will never work on NOP and opera uses proxy server and sockets, which are blocked by airtel.

Its a bad monopolistic idea. Even symbian was open source. They have developer certification. Google too can introduce something on that line. they have such right if they take full responsibility to get refund. Somehow I smell fishy for google browser and android. Mms is sent by special connections for mms, which is preconfig on your sim but some how I am unable to send even to myself. Mms has compatibility issues too. Better to use email than mms.

Instead of reboot entire device just recycling phone by long pressing red key will do the same job.

thanks all for your reply... but unfortunately i don't find any file named wdf01000.sys on c:/windows/system32/drivers. both nokia pc suite and lg usb cable driver are installed when i searched for the file. i am using nokia pc suite 7. thanks in advance......... did u check it properly ....it must b inside drivers folder ...also just go to folder options n set it to view hidden files n folders ( though i dont think its a hidden file) i have searched properly...it is not there....though i have not searched it with hidden files...... i will try it.... thanks again.... Uninstall and reinstall will surely not help. Before I found this solution, I have even formatted my laptop. THen I got this solution on Nokia developers forum. Its sureshot solution and perhaps the only solution, AFAIK See screen shot of my laptop.

this is typical problem for nokia do folowing Remove wdf01000.sys to solve improper detection of phone problem this file is located in windows/system32/drivers, delete file and reboot.

Probably CDMA operators has different conditions, they have to provide handsets too. AFAIK

I have seen that new LG handsets are detectable using PST softwares like QCDM, CDMA workshop, UNICDMA If these phones uses direct USB cable, then you can find using any of above software. I have not seen any of above handset, FYI, so I may be wrong.

HI guys... im glad to hear bout Treo... but for this i guess ill have to also subscirb To reliance net connect ie. the blackberry type of xpences.... which comes to almost increase of my bill by 1200/- to my already high bill... Well i dnt really need to get hookd on to my email all the times... so Qwerty key pad thing doenst really mean much to me nor does push mail... coz the only time im away frm net is when im travelling from Office to Home... and the qwerty also makes my mobile ltl heavy nd bulky which is not my idea.. i need a nice sleek phone with Good Blue Tooth Comp connectivity for data transfer mainly graphics and phone book MP3 good picture quality in click nd view both and memory card... I was thinking of getting one during diwali with the Nokia offer of 1000 Rs off on xchange.. do let me know friends.. will be great help... Frankly, nokia seems to be making cheap quality CDMA handsets I am saying this witn my two experiences. Nokia 6155 and 2865. None lasted more than 1 year trouble free. 2865 is dead. 6155, I spent Rs. 1200 on repair and sold off for 3k. Even service time is simply unacceptable. Minimum 2 weeks, avrage 3 weeks for smallest repair. Treo 755 is little bulky but worth every rupee u spent.

Tata and reliance has already stopped fresh investment in cdma. Tata recently changed their switch from huewei to zte . Some says its preparation for gsm.

Are those patch panel antenna of fwp available in market ? I want to give try by attaching it to evdo card.
