am looking at unlimited plan options (even 10gb is okie!) tata photon is 1250 pm i guess, how about reliance. mts i saw is rs 1999 pm (are they crazy) am disconnecting my wireline connections and planning to use 24/7 3.1mps usb data cards

hi, am looking at starting with an entry level digicam, basics will do for me...dont wanna spend much - maybe 5-7k at max am told to go for rechargeable Lithium battery camera but the specs on ebay/rediff don't clarify this most of the times though i do find lot of options within 7k range so wht do you suggest - which models would be a good bet ?

hey i went to tata chroma, settled for a samung e55 8k and has all basic features with lithium batteries...am happy with it picture quality is sharp and serves purpose of entry level user

only prob is the alkaline batteries 500 for rechargable AA cells and charger - i have got very bad reviews - unless u buy rs 1500 original battery it just doesnt last long and is very irritating stuff

well canon has A840 within my budget but then it again has alkaline AA batteries.....am looking for chargeable lithium batteries sony cybershot S950/930/980 models are all within budget and have lithium batteries ! am not able to find a real alternative yet, searching !

couple of good models but most of them have alkaline battery found another one on ebay - SHARP M-1033 10 MP rs 5999 mentions package contains charger and Rechargeable battery though not sure if its referring to alkaline or lithium

how about Sony Cyber-shot digital camera DSC-S950 10.1 megapixels rs Rs. 7,800.00 on ebay clearly mentions has Battery Charger,Rechargable Battery Pack but says Battery Type: Li-ion

did i read it correct - tata indicom expects to charge rs 4000 security deposit and rs 3000 ISD deposits ??? post that they charge about 25 bucks per minute for incoming on roaming and 80 bucks for outgoing ? plus one needs to carry GSM handet and visit tata indicom store to get a new SIM ? if this is Tata Indicom experience then better shift to GSM guys - this is utter crap !

i dont undestand this gets too complex - i have honest 275 plan with all calls and sms including STD @ 50p. my monthly bills comes to 2.5k along with data services. so whts the benefit of this plan as such !

will these settings work on HTC mogul, and deos this give free internet, coz currently am paying rs 500 for 3000 mins on tata internet on mobile...

hi i activated tata indicom internet on mobile, am able to surf internet through the browser. then tried configuring the outlook email - so tht office emails can be accessed. entered user name/pass, server ip address etc and finished the setup process post that when i click on send/recieve - it shows connecting, and then snychronising - but after long time it fails and no mails are downloaded can any1 help on whats the issue, i find it so confusing as of now

am using tata indicom internet on mobile - rs 500 for 3000 minutes - for acccessing microsoft outlok emails...find it pretty satisfactory. through WAP u mean going to a website and accessing emails ? problem is whenver i want to use wi-fi instead of tata internet, i go to com manage and deactivate data connection, but again when i chek back the connection is activated - means i am being charged inspite of using free wi-fi ! so have to keep checking if data connection is re-activated and keep deactiviting it. i think this is coz whnever the wi-fi signal is weak, the data conection is activated and thus have to de-activate it !

lols that means so many steps after each send/recieve of email - tata isnt giving the unlimited pack with my current talk plan - says have to switch to talk 199 plan which has std @ 2.65 !!!! cheaters

also how do i sync my laptop microsoft outlook with the outlook configured on the mobile....in sense all the contacts and email id's etc. i ran active sync - pc was synced but microsoft exchange sync failed - gives some error message

thanks a lot man for taking out time to answer my very basic queries.... regarding wi-fi - i think tata is my default internet settings, when i need to use wi-fi what i currently do is - go to comm manager - deactive data connection - and then i switch on wi-fi and surf.... actually i cant track realtime how much minutes my tata internet account is consuming, so if i dnt switch off the data connection - im not assured that am using wi-fi and wont be billed by tata ! also one more thing - after send/recieve mails, do i need to go to comm manager and dissconnect data connection - as tata bills on minute of usage basis.....so it will it will keep billing till i disconnect data connection from comm manager ?
