Hi guys i wanna buy a handset which will oprate on both GSM and CDMA n/w. Which Nokia handsets are available and what is their cost help me.any other company will also do.

Even i am facing the same problem and there is no limit for file size as such, as i was successful in loading a file that had an extension .file and it was abt 10kb. I even tried to put this in the forum but looks like there is no1 can slove this probelm. Neither any1 could suggest any converter from .mid to .file I think so the only option left if software updating.Lets c what happens I will try it soon.

Now that Hutch has over taken BPL its changing BPL into Hutch.And with this i hope so it will bring in tighter competition like the one in T.N.And i wish RIM should loss significant amount of coustmer to Hucth then and then only RIM will wake up. Dammm we don't get enough of talk time neither the call rates r cheaper all the GSM and TATA people laugh on us.Feel like to kick RIM off but can't change my number. But hey! TRAI is now planning that "A coustmer Should be able to change his service provider without changing his number.Just recharge of any company u like and enjoy service of any company.Great is't it. "

RIM is lacking feature rich phones like N-gage. IF ever Nokia launches N-gage for CDMA it would be really fun.RIM has got such a high speed network, it can use it for online gaming. There should be downloadable games thru R-world for such a event.Imagine N-gage multiplayer gaming on RIM network with its high speed u can challege any1 on the network. And even web surfing and media exprince with be o-some, with downloadable mp3s and vedios.And power to be onlie with high speed and mobility ya thats if RIM reduces rates and make it like Airtel Rs.5 /day.

I don't think thats quite fair. Iv been using the RD 2030 for more than 2 years now. I don't think there is any problem with reception. I havent compared the reception with all models, but seems its definitely better than the Nokia 2280 ...and maybe same/similar to the Nokia 2112. Battery is also ok ...not great of course but its just about tolerable. Actually, talk time is good ...may give more than even 3 hrs of talk time after full charge, but the problem I think are the LEDs. They take up too much power ...so if backlight remains on a lot ...like if you SMS a lot, batts run out real fast. Vibrator will make it run out real fast, too. Also, have you upgraded the firmware? Thats very imortant - will have a direct bearing on reception ...and as per my observation, it seemed to improve batt life also. I'v been told that you should have at least version 15 (thats what I have). Though I belive couple of other versions have been released... I havent upgraded cus Reliance still dosen't have a handset which I like ...and I'm not going to upgrade until they do. Sorry it was RD 2130 Moonlight that was typing mistake.

Ya that time it will be no use. But when this thing comes into existance that time u won't get a RCV for a month it will be of 3/6/12 months so even then a coustmer will think twice before switching . And hey if u recharge with any RCV u will get the benifits of that RCV so those high out going rates will be applicable only if u dont recharge with any RCV and just add bal thru top up, so enjoy life time incoming And i even heared abt HUTCH's lifetime outgoing is it true

Come on this discussion is going too far. Anil dont have so much of time to run behinde Mukesh for every phone call they have bigger issues to slove.

I was using LG 2030 and was really need to get rid of it.It hardly picks up any range, ver very poor battery backup. Well NOKIA catches range upto 17-18Km away from the tower.Good battery backup.I am really satisfied. Ya Nokia software are really poor.No good presention, low resolution.But over all better then others far more.

Ya may be u r right no offer for NOKIA handset .Not only that even the Vedio option in R-world does'nt work on NOKIA handsets. above all even though i have MMS option in my hanset the web world guy said NOKIA handset will not recive any MMS. I think Reliance has launched NOKIA handset just because it wanted stop the aligation that it does'nt like NOKIA and may be there is a reason for this dislike becoz NOKIA dont print Reliance on its hansets like LG and Sumsung so it avoids NOKIA. And mind well NOKIA's handset features are not being used upto the mark in RIM. Booooooooooow Reliance

Hey Guys, I won Nokia 3125 and when i tried to load midi files on my handset through PC Suite it shows an error "file too large" infact there is lot of space. But there is a file extension called .file which can be loaded into the phone and when i saw the details of that file on phone it showed .midi file. don't know what kind of file is this and y am i not able to load .midi file. If u know any converter that converts .midi file to this so called .file OR How to load .midi file into 3125.

Hey all u running rimweb the time over here is approx 1 hr early.I posted my new post at around 12:30 am today but it shows approx 1:30 am And tiem stamp here is 12:42am 27th Dec 2005 according to Reliance time. plz correct it

I tried the first oppsition that is renaming but it gives the same error "file too large" and if u see the renamed file and midi file the association of both of them can be changed to any media software. But if u see the original .File there is no option to change its association. And ha .File can be opened in WMP only and midi in Winamp. I did'nt get ur 2nd option. What is "Diego" I also learned that the same handset (NOKIA 3125) in TATA accepted midi files easily. But then y not mine. Looks like Reliance have tampered the original software like a................. dammm. Hey Ashok plz helppppppppppppppp!

i was successful to load that .file of 7.2Kb so there is question of size here manand i have a free space of 200kb. and the .midi file was hardly 4-5kb.

Hey guys theres one more idea y don't we held up a conference type that would comment and suggest on the working of RIM and RIP. may some day our this meet will infulnce Reliance infocomm and may be even Anil would join us some day.hows this guys.
