Now a days only buying a 4g phone is not enough. Since jio and airtel has launched Carrier aggregation(LTE-A) upto 3 band (3CA), so it is good to buy CA supported 4g handset if we really want to enjoy great data speed. I am using lyf f1s and it supports 2ca and speed is really amazing compare to other non Lte-A phone. So I want to say, can we make a list here for Lte-A supported phone. So that it would be easy for others to purchase. All the gurus who is using ca phones can throw some light here. Thanks

Hi all. There is a good news for xiaomi mi5 user. Now after latest update mi5 is supporting carrier aggregation(3ca). Speed is really awesome, equal to samsung s7. Screen shot is attached.

1. None of the jio fi devices supports LTE-A. 2. Lenovo z2 plus supports 2CA with band 5 and band 3. So you will get less speed compare to RN4 as same time RN4(which doesn't have CA) latches to band 40 which gives decent speed.. I would recommend that Go with 3CA devices to enjoy jio. I have ported my primary Number to jio and really enjoying very good speed almost everywhere in pune at anytime..

But before buy, check it with your friends or relative, whether it supports CA or not. As per specification, every SD processor supports CA atleast 2CA, but in india simply it doesn't. In this case, only samsung device is faithful although I used to hate samsung. But Now I m loving it. In my area I am getting more than 20 mbps at any time with 3CA with s7 where phone without CA is giving less than 1 mbps.

Apart from above mentioned handset, two more handsets I have tested physically who support LTA-A 1. samsung s7 (3CA) 2. MOTO X4 (3CA)

Thanks for your reply sir. In my A9 pro, A prompt only asking me to "CHANGE" the Airtel to "4G/3G/2G". Not asking to "KEEP" the existing setting. And after clicking on change it become lte slot and 1st becomes 3g/2g only. So jio network dissappears..

Showing only LTE. In samsung mobile, dial *#0011# and it will show CA status..

Hi sir, How it is possible to turn on airtel data and get incoming call on jio? I have put jio sim in 1st slot and airtel in 2nd slot. for mobile data default sim card is slot 1(jio). the moment I turn on 2nd sim as a default sim for data, it becomes lte slot and due to this 1st slot become 3g/2g only, since jio is 4g only network, so its network dissappears. so what is the solution for this? I want to use jio as a incoming call and airtel as a 3g data. thanks

Sir, I am telling about that handset which is physically tested with CA. As per wikipedia list, all mentioned handset don’t support CA physically. For example none of the xiaomi and sony phones support CA in india physically. Even one plus 3/3t is mentioned but not supporting physically. Htc a9 mentioned but not supporting, only htc 10 supported. Htc u11 I never used or any of my relative didn’t used, so i don’t have idea. I never used samsung phone, so cann’t comment about any model of samsung. Yesterday I bought a9 pro after taking advice from you itself and it is working great. I just want to say sir, many of the handset that should support CA , actually not supporting physically in india..

got a jio sim today(RN3 bar code generated) and it is activated today itself. but problem is not getting unlimited offer. I have tried all above mentioned method but nothing works. 2gb data and 100 min call I got. data is already exhausted. any help how to make it unlimited? thanks

Thanks a lot sir @kanaga and @joshm.. I have RN3 handset and using cdma in this phone. Till the time tata will be available, I use it. If it closes then I will choose any good gsm network(Airtel or Voda) as RN3 supports all network.

tata indicom bangalore circle works without any issue in redmi note 3 from day one. I just insert sim.
