Hello Sameer, It's been a while since we spoke about the speeds in Bangalore. Are you still getting the same 12.36 mbps kind of speed even now? Cuz, I've been checking the speed lately and it doesn't seem to exceed 3 mbps at all. Is there a setting I'm missing on my phone? Can you please check from your end and post the result? Thanks, Vinay Hi vinay, I have been facing same speed issue since last 50 days. frequently call drop and not even getting a good signal, only 1x everytime and unable to browse net. called to customer care so many times, but no any response from their side. 5 days before I got a call from mumbai regarding these issues. A technician came to my place and resolved all the issues. Now I am getting the same good speed. These technician would visit every tower and as early as possible you would also get the good speed.

I was in chennai for more than a month. Rev B was working without any issue in my htc desire 816 with normal RECRUC series sim, which i made nano with the help of sim cutter. even in mumbai, it was working without any issue..

For rev.B, there is no requirement of any special sim or special plan. Sim should be RECRUC series..Just it.

Lg tribute does not support rev.b its max data transfer rate is upto rev.A. if u make it rev.b through dfs,network shows rev.b but data works in 1x mode only..rev.B is only rumour in lg ribute.. I m from bangalore too.

Hi all, In lg tribute, rev. B only works for Tata and MTS. For Reliance it works with rev.A only. If you make it Rev.B, data will run in 1x mode only...

same thing happened with me. after changing it from Rev A to Rev B, it is showing rev. B but running in 1X only. the moment i disconnect the data again it shows rev.B

what are the setting for data on TATA and MTS..

my sprint HTC m8 harmon/kardon stopped supporting reliance cdma data all of a sudden. rest call and sms working fine. its also working with tata and mts with data, but reliance data stopped working. how much speed you are getting I am getting rev B speed 7-11 mbps..

Fact about reliance cdma sim for using rev. b:- (1) There is no need of Nano sim. If you have RECRUC series normal sim then simply make it nano or Micro by sim cutter as per handset requirement and 100% you will get rev.b speed and network, if your handset supports rev.b (2) Only chip shape should be like this(pics attached). I am testing some imported handset for rev. B. if anyone supports rev. B then I will post it.

GAlaxy Note-3 Sprint Make is Rev.A only. My son using the same None of imported handsets (any brand) support rev.B till date.

Htc desire 816 dual sim. best option for CDMA even for rev B as well as gsm till date. and i would suggest you never go for imported phone because you will face lot of problems like:- 1. most of the imported phones don't support wifi tethering. for this you have to root your phone and do many things which also doesn't work sometimes. 2. If you will update then this won't support data(specially for CDMA,). very risky to update. 3. No warranty. 4. very rare seller supports after sale. 5. finally you will loose your peace of mind. Now a days in India, there are many options for cdma handsets as well:- 1. htc desire 816 dual sim (23000/-) - support rev B 2. htc e8 dual sim (32000-33000)-support rev B 3. htc one 802d dual sim (30000-33000)-support rev B 4. htc desire 700 dual sim (18000-19000)- support rev B (but not truely), fluctuate from rev B to A always. 5. htc desire 601c dual sim (20000-22000)- rev A 6. htc desire 516c dual sim (12990 fixed)- rev A All above handsets support cdma as well as gsm and available in market.

Below listed handsets support Evdo-rev. B:- 1. Htc desire 816 dual sim. 2. Htc one e8. 3. Htc one 802d dual sim. I am using Htc desire 816 and have attached speed test screen shot. I have never experienced such a great speed even in airtel 4g in bangalore. Airtel 4g gives max speed upto 10 mbps.Reliance cdma rev B is giving max upto 12.36 mbps.I have recharged with 4999 plan and downloaded more than 200 gb till date, no fup truely unlimited. On 1st nov I visited mumbai. I was getting rev b network in my htc desire 816 and speed upto 5-6 mbps. Here in bangalore I am getting 8-10 mbps.. Sameer, I bought a HTC One E8 recently. I'm not able to get the connections rightly. The data gets connected and keeps dropping in sometime and it says - "Disconnected because service is unavailable". Also, connection is always on 1X and EV symbol shows up, but without connectivity. Could you please be able to help me rectifying the connection issue? Would highly appreciate your help. Have you activated EVDO on your sim? if not then please get it activated first by creating a request through reliance insta care app. This is the best way to get it activated within 48 hrs. Rev b is here in bangalore, so go to setting--About--network--mobile network type and check network, it should be type of EvDo-rev A or EvDo-rev B. if it is there then your area is covered under EvDo. 2. If EvDo is already activated then please check your sim type. in bangalore, reliance web world is providing old pattern type sim, which is not compatible for smartphones. please replace your sim card with new pattern. On point 2, I will now have to check the SIM type; as you rightly mentioned, it is a very old SIM which I started using from my older phone (cut into nano size). Will get it replaced asap and get back to you with the results. But, as you also mentioned - Would reliance web world issue the new pattern sim card to me? Or how do I go about it? But since 6 months they are providing only old pattern sim which does not work in any smartphone for data. only one excuse, "they have some supply issue in bangalore". Even i thought to port my no. but one of my friend from chandigarh provide me new blank micro sim card and I am enjoying best data speed.
