A question guys - how do you come to know of new deals by ebay sellers like sankalpdeals. I mean even if you click on 'Items for sale' by Sankalpdeals, no item is shown. I added him as favorite seller but still do not get any mail for new deals listed.. just curious how to hunt and keep track of such deals

Courier guys are keeping the RewardMe samples most of the times in non-metro towns.. it is a known fact now. In fact When I said my local courier that I would complain to your head office he was still not moved! They are even faking signatures etc.. pathetic.. happens only in third world countries like India

Yes, it looks like snkalpdeals is backed by eBay promotion. The items sent by him are packaged are eBay branded. Otherwise, who would sell things on price not even covering the shipping costs. It is just a eBay marketing ploy to get new users (remember sankalp deals are available only to first time buyers).

Friends, I was looking for Samsung W139 handset (CDMA + GSM) but could not find it available in any mobile stores or online. Mostly it looks it has been discontinued just recently. Anyone has any clue of its availability anywhere?

5200?? Are you sure? Is that DP or end user open market price? In which city? I enquired in lot of shops in NCR, the best price I was quoted was 6200 !! Online the best price is 6000 (before any discount coupons). And as usual Reliance web world morons are quoting it at exorbitant 7000 !!

Are you using OMG RUIM? Have you got EVDO activated from Reliance on your RUIM? Can you please give some feedback on this handset like signal reception, battery back up (in days/use if only CDM is active or when both CDM & GSM are active), voice quality etc.

the free bundled offer is only for new customers prepaid or postpaid. handset is RUIM based locked over Reliance network. have to activate EVDO from backend. Sent from my HTC One X So existing RCDMA OMH RUIM should work in this handset? Should not be number locked Wonder why Reliance don't make good handsets available for existing users. Now unnecessary have to take a new RCDMA connection, use it for 6 months and then throw it. These guys are moron !!

It is not available any longer. In fact no LG basic are now available as Reliance has ended ties with LG and LG has stopped manufacturing them. If you or anyone know of a place they are available please let me know too !!

Using Aircel in Delhi/NCR as secondary number for 10 months. Here are my observation: Pros: - Nice tarrif plans Neutral: - Voice quality - Average - Coverage - Descent most of the times Cons: - As @AmitnSonu mentioned it has a big time issue of network registration especially while roaming. Have to do it manually many times and even fails to get registered to Aircel manually sometimes. Get hooked to Idea with roaming tarrifs even when Aircel is available. Was charged for Data roaming on idea heavily once due to this. - Edge speeds are pathetic in whole of Delhi/NCR and West UP. Speed varies largely in Delhi/NCR between 2-10 KBps, average is 5-7 KBps. Unusuable. - Have roamed to UP West. Coverage is bad. No signals inside house all time. - Have roamed to Uttarakhand. No coverage, but get hooked to Idea/Vodaphone most of times. Difficult to get recharged since new connecitons are not sold. It may be due to this reason only that free Aircel are being thrown by most shopkeepers in Delhi/NCR just to increase subscribers.
