Any ideas if they will start the FTTH service along with 4G? They have terminated the fibre at my place about 8 months back. They have even given unique id to all the terminal boxes. Any info if you can share?

@hitesh bro I have installed lolipop from the zip in OP and also flashed the modem. I have done Data programming using your guide. Everything is working fine. But the Current country in the dialer is being shown as US and every app that takes the number automatically takes it as US. If i can change back to india.

Okay so installed the Outdoor terminal Box at my premises. It is manufactured by a chineese firm (Fiberhome telecom technologies Co. Ltd.). Single box is cappable of providing 12 connections. They have installed 2 conduits to the OTB so that in case there is damage to one they can run the fiber from the other conduit without digging again. Fiber also has a reliance branding which will be spliced tomorrow. Got the Product description manual of the manufacturer of OTB with me. Again they are saying launch is tomorrow. :/ Lets wait for the morning newspaper where maybe we can see some advert on the front page if it is indeed launching tomorrow.

Launch of wireless services is on 28th December 2014 along with the ftth services where the ofc work is done. Places where ofc work is still pending deadline is April 2015. This is as per the information provided from one of the contractor who is working for rjio.

In my sector here in Noida ofc work is going on for months now. They have connected all the towers and distribution work to each n every household is almost complete too. No word on pricing yet but launch date they are informing is 28th December. If you need any pics I can provide you all. As tower is near by (hardly 50m) as well as fttx
