hey thats right...i found the same solution, i.e. adding extra initialization commands.

I have an R-Connect connection setup on an LG LSP350R phone. Problem is that the phone beeps every time the connection goes dormant or becomes active. How do I turn off this sound or mute the speaker altogether (coz I don't use the phone otherwise).

I have a weird problem with R-Connect installation for Nokia 3125. I use an original Nokia CA-42 cable and installation s/w from Reliance website. Whenever I try to install, it reaches the point where it asks to connect the handset. After installation of the handset drivers, the"Next" button never gets enabled. This has also happened to me in the past with an LG phone. Is there any way to manually install the phone (Nokia) and connect with the windows dialer instead of using R-Connect s/w?
