I found a method to find the MSL code for LG Tribute. I was able to put the phone into SIM mode. I don't have any SIM right now to test. I personally think that taking money for this 'hack' is unethical. This community has helped a lot and I think it's my duty to give something back. To put things in a short manner,when you activate the device on Ting,you will get the MSL/SPC. To activate,you just need to go to ting website and proceed from there. Hope this helps somebody.

Hello, I've registered my Moto G MEID a few months back. I was busy with my exams and did not manage to get it activated. A few days back, I went to the Reliance web world in Barrackpore, Kolkata. The guy at the shop explained to me that they don't have CDMA SIM. I tried to tell him that this is not SIM card phone, but he does not seem to understand what I was saying. I have my RSN, and told him to activate my number. Alas, they were not helpful at all. What should I do? Shall I go in there again and explain to them or try somewhere else? Thanks
