The people who are generating the code for 1st time on their phone are getting IMEI no. As code. Hence they not getting this bar code used error. However old people who already generated can't get new IMEI based codes. Also I have seen they are not Manually inserting the codes now, so that problem will not be there of used codes. Bro, I am not facing such issues on Moto G3 & none of my 3 friends on Moto G4 Plus are facing it. Since G4 Play is new then there might be some issues with it's software. I and one of my friend ordered G4 Play in this sale. He got today and Jio working absolutely fine till today... Mine will come in 3 days, will test if possible and will let you know about it. CDMA in all circles will be shut down in phased manner. Reliance (RCOM) paid a huge price to liberalise all its spectrum holding and by acquiring new spectrum in auctions. It won't make sense for them to continue CDMA which won't bring any new revenue to them. Even MTS Spectrum after the merger will be coverted to 4G & CDMA in those circles will also be shut down. It's better to convert your sim or PORT in time else you will loose your no. If you don't do it before deadline. The CDMA TO GSM/4G Switch-Over would happen in night consequatively. One will off, another will on. Right now only thing is to register the sim for upgrade. Rest process will be informed in future. Also, CDMA was dead technology and it was bound to happen. Guys, I got the SIM & Water 6 yesterday. Thanx@Shabir Bohra Ji for my invite. Both the stores in my city told the new Wind 4 with enormous battery won't work with this offer. Got a good no. 70090 in last. There were around 100 sims with them also having xxx00 as last digits. My form got rejected, just like I heard horror stories. Lets see now what time it takes to activate it. The store guy was willing to arrange a invite for my cousin if he buys from same store. Guys, I have got the hack on how to use these sims on other phones. Actually I read it on other forum so thought of sharing here. You need to do an employee recharge of 25 GB from My JIO app which is free and you will be able to use the data benefits on other phones.

Hello Guys, I have one good news and one bad news. Good news is procedure to upgrade to 4G in 9 circles came on official site. Link:- http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/personal/4G/4G_overview.html Bad News is for the guys who were eager to do upgrade. As the site mentions that to get benefits of free data, calls, etc you need to do recharge first then upgrade SIMS. So it's dicey for people who upgraded SIMS 1st & recharged later whether they will get benefits or not. Postpaid users not required to do anything. Also it's clear that 1st they will upgrade all users to new sims then they will switch off RCOM CDMA & Switch on 4G later and everyone in these 9 circles will get 4G at same time. So be patient and upgrade your sims, there's enough time for all. Also here the point to be noted is of this 9 circles only 2 are where RJIO has spectrum. So lets see how it goes down the line.
