consult classic service centre or reliance web world before trying to change any settings in classic phone . as it is having problem of going in emergency mode

if promotional balance is there then on non ruim handset then it may not continue on changing set . so when you visit ww/wwe 1. tell them your lg 2690 lost and they retain your number in new set and out lg 2690 in lost . 2. after 24-48 hours you can visit again and get your lg2690 status to found as simply found it ..lol this way your all promotions , valididy , tt will get fwd to new set .

dont know about other cities but here reliance usb card is giving very good speed then tata . i am using for last 4 months . its pretty good and here many people left tata and airtel and opted for this card. but you check again speed in ur city . both reliance and tata can give demo at ur place . i am not technically sound but heard that reliance mobile n fwp gives speed of 115 kbps n usb card of 230 kbps (i know these are ideal conditions , but still if it makes some diff. in selection). i am totally unstaisfied with reliance fwp for net though.

i think new connections must have gone very high . as with prepaid 220 gsk . it cost 997 n in that u get new phone , with 1 yr incomng and 1000 talktime on reliance . so many must have bought as an extra phone for driver , servants , office people ; secondary for family members etc

see if you are not able to do outgoing calls that means your *228 has not been done . call on *228 again . listen what they say and post here . also after doing that quit application for 30 min . after that insert card and try calling local number . are you able to do outgoing local call or sms ? these things will rule out one thing . your card activated or not ? rest is simple setting same as per my previous post

you wont be able to solve . these classic are cheap sets with low quality . visit your nearest service centre and insist them to replace
