yesterday i got this set in black for rs 3500 . very good battery life . very much satisfied with this phone

it is possible . computer shops here selling cd for 150-300 with which you can download mp3 in phone .

best option for : 1. incoming is roaming roaming pack of 100 as arun mentioned . 2. for outgoing india cards can be used . 3. to furthur save money if your friend dont use onnet pack or cug ; and he goes for some days in roaming then he can go for min rent plan while in roaming . it wud be beneficial if he go for plan change from say plan 399 to 124 in roaming .

personally i would go for nokia 6275 . i am using that . had bought moto for my mother last month . was not satisfied . changed her set now to n6275

call divert facility is on every postpaid no . just dial *301xxxxxxxxxx where x no where call to be diverted to deactivate dial *302 no idea whether this facility is sp. for this set too . otherwise if your friend using postpaid then simply tell him to do as above

I am daily getting around 5-7 sms from 8888 . CAn anybody tell how to get rid of that . i have requested for do not disturb feature at reliance website and also complained at *333. They say that they can deactivate all sms being sent from 1232 or 1234 but not from 8888 as 8888 is not their service .
