Second step.

Try these - sceen shots from XP. In IE. Goto Settings -> Internet Options -> Privacy tab See the screenshots for further info

Beware - I think increasing warn level may decrease your ranking and once it crosses a preset value - U WILL BE AUTOBANNED and Ur IP will be added to banned IP list and NO MORE RIM WEB FOR U. I am not sure what all ipb has by default and it depends on what options/actions mods set
-
emmi I think U missed the point there... Even if the user agrees for anything still RIMWEB/it's owner can be held responsible for allowing to hold such discussions under it's premises. It's similar to the consequences of allowing users to post "warez"/Pirated softwares on your site. The problem is a bit complex

I dunno the internals of RIL billing software - but what one can guess is - just like Ur email account if U close the page without logging off - the account will be auto logged off after a set time period . Now if U log on before that - since the acccount is already active it will simply connect to that.
-
yeah - IP is easy as StaticElectricity said and I have even heard that U can send commands to disconnect and more ... from the net using some vulnerabilities - but these are all kinda hacker stuff and I never put my head into it.
-
prolly U can change - if u were to overwrite with the older one U backed up ... but again since they (LG) replaced ur board they might have changed some other info too and Ur older PRL may not work .. who knows phone may not boot up too ?? May be ppl who cloned RIM can answer to U for sure

I had sent a mail with attchment - from yahoo and it reached

Check if has gone to Spam folder. Mine went straight there I think yahoomails goto G-mail spam and Gmail to Yahoo Bulk ... what's the prob I think they love each other

May be Ur privacy settings in IE doesn't allow cookies from this site .. ??

I think he means: u = older memebers who have viewed/?enjoyed the posts related to "THIS" topic. we = new members who joined after these topics were removed.

Yes - New ringtones available at R-World can be downloaded and I think U can even get SMS ringtones (3) later - when RIL provides such a ability (I don't think other models have that) Bitpim doesn't show the file system of 2130 ?? or only the ringtone files ? May be some one can try BAL/Gagin on it and see if it helps.

Rim To Post Results For Over 70 Exams On Rworld
Code replied to Chirag's topic in Reliance Communications
I think No service provder need to accept responsibility for a wrong result - beyond taking a "Reasonable degree of care" and displaying Disclaimer and asking the user to confirm the results directly before a decision is taken based on that (me talking about applying for a future course etc - not suicide). Every service involves inherent risk that many of us us accept without acknowledging ... Things as simple as taking a lift on a frnz bike/car ... so on... I think people should be more responsible before taking such drastic actions ... Anyways the event was very unfortunate -
Mp3 player perhaps? / Decoding/encoding Wavelets
Code replied to iiii_pretender_iiii's topic in Technical / OS related
I think either the format is different or the files are packed in RD 7130. wavelet_00 etc No seperate audio/Video/text files. It looks like a BASE 4 encoded file and using winzip I could extract a file out of if about half the size of original file ... need to experiment more I think -
Dunno what it does .. Try this one *444 U will get a MMS to run Recent Calls list - Can anyone throw more light on this - my 7130 does not display this ("R - world Not Ready" )
-
I think almost all the phones are capable of accessing the features provided by RIM though at the level of user interface features may vary and some of them can be irritating - eg in 7130 U cannot use the number from incoming call list to SMS (either U need to have a strong memory or use a pen and paper). But again what seems to be a crippling limitation for one may not even be noticed by another - depends upon personal prefs too . . . I advice U to search the forum for posts about your would-be model and also some one with that model may throw more light.
-
I thought was something different ... Short answer: It stands for "Preferred Roaming List", and it is used by the phone to locate different cell systems. CDMA FAQ: What is a PRL?
-
I think U can put much more that - a single wavelet on my 7130 is 378 kb big - and I have stored 4 wavelets once - so my guess is it must be some where 1- 1.5 mb!! but yes - may be diff with diff models

Mp3 player perhaps? / Decoding/encoding Wavelets
Code replied to iiii_pretender_iiii's topic in Technical / OS related
I have seen that the files stored in wavelet directory (Video clips from R- World) have "TMD" as the file format tag at their begining. Also I noticed that the file is enlosed within another using a base4 encoding and the inside file is almost half the size (do these files contain a player inbuilt ??) Anyone has an idea about finding whcih format it belongs to (Is it H264 ??) -
Is It Possible To Change The First R Logo In 2030
Code replied to vinodh's topic in Technical / OS related
Need not necessarily If you can assemble the cable yourself using Max 232 or similar chips and circuit diagrams for LG - and your phone is still in warranty .... -
I have seen that these stickers glow if in contact with the antenna - but otherwise the mobile battery will obstruct (samsung/LG). So the batery powered ones like BORED suggested would br the way to go
-
Preloaded ringtones aren't stored in the user File system - so it is very difficult (if not impossible) to modify them.

Is It Possible To Change The First R Logo In 2030
Code replied to vinodh's topic in Technical / OS related
Yes - that is possible for ringtones - already Menu is available in 7130. So I am sure LG has kept a option for themes too may be for future - although we don't have any user menu to do it now. We have to find out .. Modifying the original logos involves writing to the EEPROM binary directly and I guess is too difficult/risky. -
but not for 7130 although the suggestion fo saving number in two formats helps
-
They always say that 'by default' - you need to again specify the make of Ur handset.
