U can add a new port in the QPST config dialog to add Ur USB port. QPST doesn't show any extra files that are not seen in bitpim - so may not be very useful except that it uses the high speed (115.00 kbps Brew Protocol).

I have seen that Emule has very unreliable behaviour with WinXP SP2. There are rumours that this was intentionally programmed into the OS by M$. Yeah sometimes it gets slower than this - 2bytes per sec etc.

For 5130 rename the 2130 dll & NOT 2030 one.
-
huh Even I have listed the serious bugs of 7130. Check these posts: Sms outgoing problem Signal- S/w Issue? Please read previous topics too
-
even 5130 doesn't allow group msging.
-
Can't you use the desktop charger ? If not then as you replied yourself that no third party cables are available for gtran. So it is not be possible.
-
Possibly CSTN display which will be dim outdoors as compared to the transflective TFT display of 7230 is a drawback for those who work freq outdoors.
-
Additionally it is possbly a link for PDA phone rather than web version.
-
Thats a nice finding. On 7130 it damges the banner for sure. And on 5130 it simply quits with a error.

Even I do own LEGAL version of XP home. Now please don't start posting that I have a pir***d version etc as Ganesh has already adviced

Yeah and win9x systems (95/98/Me) can run only run with one active primary partition else the OS installtion gests corrupted. Most the third party(e.g Bootmagic) or XP boot manager automaticaly do this in the background. Further more as others already said it is better to have the non primary partitions (D E etc) as FAT32 to ease recovery in case of a Crash and also if one is plannig a dual boot with the other system belonging to 9x family.

Utsav We don't allow this option to users due to certain reasons. U can convert the flash to a animated gif and post it in most if not all the cases. This time I have posted Ur flash movie

they prolly did that to give prominenceto All about 93. Lets hope they restore the favorites back to original place after sometime

R Connect From One Computer But Not Another
Code replied to ashoksoft's topic in Technical / OS related
Well another thing to look for is a hardware conflict. My friend pulled out all hair until I figured out that the conflict between his two RAM chips was the real cause of the problem with R-Connect. -
hmm.. This was expected anyway vishal. But some of you may be interested to note that the logging of the time spent on data call is logged at the client end(handset) & periodically sent * to the billing server. If U break this "calling home" routine then U r almost done - unless they are succesful changing their current data monitoring strategy ... * = ???every 3 min & at disconnection from server/waking up from dormancy. For the same reason removing battery to terminate connection will not cause a significant benefit in billing (unless u connect less than 3 min per session where u can save 2 min of billing by this method).
-
that indeed shud be really small/negligible
-
Mahidhar I guess 2030/7130/7130 users are lucky in this regard as they can say good bye(delete using bitpim) to the t9 database if it starts acting out. On 2130 it isn't visible in bitpim I guess.

R Connect From One Computer But Not Another
Code replied to ashoksoft's topic in Technical / OS related
Possibly some other driver is having conflict with R-Connect s/w. -
Well a cc rep told me that the server crashed unexpectedly and that they were fixing it
-
I don't think dialing with that user/pass will be charged as far as R-World remains free. Success connecting to "internet" by this method equates to be able to establish a http or other protocol connection over a given port just like the Webmail/R-Surf applet does on the h/s

Nadiad is a city in Gujarat. U is commonly used by many in place of You

Nice one EEPROM although I can't download now. I already had tried QPST sometime back but be careful - if U write to phone Ur banner will get damaged. U can't set a banner text anymore until U get a s/w upgrade/refresh!!. So banner fans - never use it to write anything except using the EFS explorer.
-
Actually they have set the phone to respond to a particular command (for most commands) only if it comes in twice (kinda confirmation) to guard against communication errors. I don't know if this behaviour is consistent across all the models & s/w versions e.g I heard FWP requires three in succesion.
-
I think such option is avail on NT based OS (NT/2k/XP/2k3/longhorn) only.
-
It depends whether the soft was designed to support virtual com ports. If not then it won't work on USB cables no matter what U put in that option combo box.
