I think U can try to connect using hyperterminal and send AT commands to set baud rate: AT+IPR=115200 (U can confirm with a CDMA manual)

I don't have that moon***** but U can try one thing Reset R-Menu Thrice. Restart the phone. Repeat the procedure and restart (better still remove battery or use my comm testapp) then Goto R-World mostly it should work

Just to add to what Ashok has already said the speed depends on the signal strength to an extent(No of bars) and signal quality. Additionally it also depends on the Radio Bandwidth available in a particular region at a given point of time (it is also shared by Voice calls).

Yeah only those links are allowed to load the initial environment of R-World on your phone. After that the downloaded midlets execute and request for more data in a secure way. This way Ur are able to access any pop3 server on Webmail applet and the entire internet from R-Surf. Changing the links in your phone WILL NOT help other than possibly damaging the device. For any further progress to occur one has to write a R-World emulator for desktop and also *(* back engineer the authentication protocol to allow access to internet rather than simply the R-World intranet.

Yeah that's good info Vishal __ Username sam2 works too . I think R-Surf uses an encrypted token to authorise itself to view other wap sites. Same with Webmail app. BTW I had also heard that a particular number as Username/pwd gives free R-Connect access but haven't been able to get hands on it.

mkr as for Ur sms being not sent in first instance it is a handet bug lmited to certain LG handsets only.

What I would suggest U is to search for third party drivers(provided U exhausted all options with the reliance driver which AFAIK works with most 3rd party cables) on the net and try them one by one preferably (if possibly) on win9x as win 2k/XP may have persistent problems after installing one incompatible driver.

Yeah the scripts put up by Y! to block wap emulators affects Reliance browser too ... The uk site prolly doesn't have that one (they forgot ?? ). Hope we find some others with YIM

gadget_monk Thanks for that info. I have used the same settings (BTW I use the same in Outlook Express and that works well). Today I did clear mem twice and Reset R-menu 10 times with reboot. Now works like a charm.

I have pop3 access to Yahoo (co.in) but the webmail applet hangs on my 7130. Reset R-Menu and Remov'Replace Battery didn't help. Earlier it used to work well. Can any one with pop accesss to Yahoo confirm on this?

It's simply to ensure that problems don't occur by user's misusing/abusing the Feature (e.g Calling himself an Admin or Supermod etc or putting up a Title that is Hate realted etc etc). One more imp intention is to give some kind of reward for the user's participation in the forum.
