The trai has reduced the charges for isp which will be applicable from 1st may but still no operator has reduces the same for the customers? tomorrow is 1st may , will relaince reduce charges, has anybody heard of it??

For me DU meter is best . always the bill is less then what dumeter shows so i use it till du meter shows 1000mb

Someone needs to confirm this from nokia gallery becuase the phones which we purchase from web world r locked to relaince and unlocking is illegal and so also tata doesnt give its software in open market to change our software.

The software it has is of relaince and so i think using on tata is diffcult until we change it and at present even tata doesnt allow handset from outside.

Currently Relaince offers the mximum speeds in wireless internet. All gprs connections r slow and there is no other option. A technology EVDO is evolving and relaince is working on it by which we can get speeds like even 256 on hansets, but there is a long time to come i think that is a part of 3d cdma.

I talked to chairmans office and what they told me is that i have a older version of sofware in my handsets. I use LG RD 2030 and the version with wich this works is f15 or soemthing. so i need to go to lg service center and get it upgraded. guys u check ur versions also, may be we all r facing the problem for that only....

True. this is relaince, anything can happen.

so what. if they give the speed of 128 on rim and unlimited then i m not telling to charge just 750 they may charge more but thir speed is less. secondly even if it is wireless most the people r using it for normal internet needs and not specifically while trravelling. i used to pay around rs. 2400 earlier and noe in freedom plan. i use it at my home only where i can even get a broad band. so relaince is not competing with just wireless. and its not that relaince cant afford it and if it thinks to get good margins it cant get more customers. there is topic in our fourm in which its mentioned in 4 months relaince rconnect users got 4 times more , why? becuase price decreased and not becuase it gives mobility and this is also sited as the reason in the forum which is a press release. if mobiel charge rs.32 per min they cant reach 10 crorer indians as now is the case.

Generally as i have read in this fourm in also my frineds who use orange have initally a limit of Rs. 1000/-. It increases as per ur usage and payment. my bills earlier used to be around Rs.3200 per month and now have reduced to Rs. 1000 per month. my cridt limit is more then Rs. 3200for sure as i was a user and payer for the same. i.e. to say if u have good billing and u r a good payer ur credit limit can be increased. for that u can try to write to charimans office.

For me it shows 0MB, cool na i have used from then 800MBS. i think still they have not upadted exact detials for every users.

I know its wireless but at the same time in broad band they r gving 128 speed and here we get between 50 to 80 in general. so i m expecting unlimited at 750 without 128 speed. here wilress may be csotly but then speed is less so that benefit they r getting.

Well all that is god to hear but what will be the ground relaity, when will the charges fall, does anybody have any updates of what happened tot he vsnl case and whats going on in trai or isp about reducing rates. I think even wihout the cut of trai still relaince must drop rates that allready its giving in 750 128k unlimited connection then why not to RIM customers.

I think instead of those low end phones what pepole now need is a resonable cos coulour with camera with bluetooth for net.

Is it prepaid , if yes then many a times as discused in this forum rpevously also many people r able to access net and it doesnt deduct the amount but later on when after some days it deducts it creates a neagtive balance and then when u refill the same is adjusted against ur refill. people have used like this for unlimited and finally had to throw the hndset as whatever they refill gets adjusted in the negative balance.
