this is very comical & neither Huawei nor Reliance can explain this , i believe it is more to do with software , hopefully the manufacturer releases a patch

agree ....the same i had posted earlier for REC RCDMA SIM series ...@ Tauji is there any fluctuation when you are using REC SIM series ...
-
@ Tauji , request a feedback after re-inserting the REC sim may be after a day . It is indeed very good that REC sim is latching to EvDO !!
-
expect this while fk is having lots of offer... so did u receive yet? Yes.. I got my phone. EVDO was working with REC RUC ruim but stopped when i tried using bsnl evdo ruim. Since then, not been able to use evdo. However it has latched to evdo rev a network all the while. Data not working. I will update you guys with a brief review later in the night. Currently in office. Yeah , the same was in my case ....when u insert SIM it latches to EvDO network , then stops & never again latched even if you do a factory re-set( atleast this is in case of REC sim) , not sure in case of RGE sim , @lostjournal i request that you please use RGE sim series before returning the phone if the case may be.

Please share the link , could not find on http://shop.rcom.co.in/
-
I had scheduled a pickup for return , so the handset is going back , however please give a feedback . I have meanwhile ordered RGE sim so after feedback , may order another phone ...
-
Sandeep if that was the case , when i re-insert the SIM back to my old phone the data should not work , however the data works in my old handset .....

I have a OMH SIM , internet working fine with current handset ie., Lenovo A600E, i did send SMS to 55444 & subsequently go a confirmation also , funny thing is that when i physically press mobile data or apn type the data symbol shows for 1-2 seconds , then abruptly stops . I have now registered complaint with Reliance customer care , not sure how to proceeds .
-
tried option suggested by Arindam , but still the data is not working ( just for a few seconds there is the data transfer symbol which was there earlier also when i switch on or switch of the mobile data , but then that vanishes ) , the network also fluctautes a lot from 1X to EV & back .
-
Sonam , i have RECRU..........series OMH SIM i mean my SIM number begins with RECRU & OMH is written in the end
-
hi Arindam , pls also confirm you are latching to EVDO network continuously ?
-
Tried not working ..infact i altogether entered new APN settings & tried using , still not working . Other peculiar thing is that network keeps fluctuating between EV & 1X.....

The DATA is not working , i'm also returning my phone ....got it yesterday ....guess BAD LUCK ...hope FLIPKART accepts the order back !!

Reliance Jio - Pan India 4G / LTE network
anki_79 replied to Arun's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
Reliance Jio Infocomm (RJIL), a telecom arm of RIL and Reliance Communications (RCom) announced the signing of agreements for change in spectrum allotment in 800 MHz band across 9 circles from RCom to RJIL, and for sharing of spectrum in 800 MHz band across 17 circles. As part of the enhanced strategic collaboration, both companies also intend to enter into reciprocal Intra Circle Roaming (ICR) arrangements. Access to enhanced spectrum footprint in the 800 MHz band will complement RJIL's best-inclass LTE services rollout, providing increased network coverage and superior service quality. The spectrum arrangements between RJIL and RCom will result in network synergies, enhanced network capacity and will optimise spectrum utilisation and capital expenditure efficiencies. Both operators anticipate considerable savings in operating costs and future investment in networks. RCom's customers will benefit from access to Reliance Jio's world class nationwide 4G LTE network under the reciprocal sharing and ICR agreements. The arrangements are subject to liberalisation of RCom spectrum in the 800 MHz band and obtaining requisite approvals. These agreements further strengthen the comprehensive framework of business cooperation between RJIL and RCom Group, following the nationwide long term IRU agreements for inter and intra city optical fibre networks, and for sharing of telecom tower infrastructure. -
