Yes i gave me esn in thje caf form which did not work. then the tata indocom tried a lot and somehow got a prepaid number and did *228. This helped my number to get registered but the esn is not in their records hence they are still not generating a min for it.... i dont know what to do If yours is a prepaid no just use a HCC and do it...i have used it in the past on configured foreign handsets...for Postpaid they register ESN in hex form and give u mein..ask them to regenerate MIN after registering ESN against ur no...everytime u put in new ESN a new MIN is generated

need help for my friend...i had sold my treo 755p to him a couple of days back...he used it for a day and suddenly yesterday it just went dead...the phone just wouldn't start...not even in PDA mode...when he tries to connect charger to charge it...the phone turns on in PDA mode fro a few sec and then stops charging...it immediately shuts down on removing charger...can anyone suggest what is the problem...i have given him a week's warranty so i have promised to take it back if it doesn't get fixed..as i know him well and know he didn't mess it if he says so...plz help
