tried everything that i could find on the forum...went to three different tata cc but they could not solve....am stuck...just got my no. transferred to my old phone again...but i want this treo so badly...people help me. guess what i jut managed to activate a new prepaid connection on this set using handset change card but my postpaid not getting activated...and apparantly TATA does not have handset change cards for postpaid...someone help? well you are not the only one with this issue sumitverma is also having a similar problem with for activating his touch diamond.... well in this case i think u will have to wait for tata so solve out this issue or take help of kshah ji but can we change our no to prepaid and then transfer and change it back to postpaid...will it work...also how do we enable internet access on the treo for TATA

Just got call from TATA cc...they reconfirmed MIN...also they saying everything activated from their end...saying problem with phone programmin or phone itself... ab kya karein

my UIM has been deactivated when i requested for a ESn registration and transfer of no from old cell to new cell..will it give me my new MIN...actually i m so desperate because even my old phone has been deactivated....i have a couple of important orders to execute and without a phone i m deadmeat

As per post 68 yes..i changed it 14846..but handset remains inactive called up cutomer care again...they just gave me a docket and asked me to wait till tomorrow morning.....went to a tata indicom hub near my house...technician there says...esn activated...anything more he doesnt know

where do i eneter home SID and NID etc...if i enter ##3282# then these options are not there

tried ...its saying ur phone programmed and giving my no as 0000....is it an unlocking issue...i manually entered phone no and MIN again but nothing working still

finally convinced one guy to give my MIN...now i have min fed into treo...ESN is activated...i programmed min and phone as sadikk said but my treo still inactive..i cant make or receive calls.....can somene help me program the phone...looks like a programming issue...please help.

TATA customer care guys are genius...they will not give MIN no. as its against their rules...i have a Huawei C2605 ....acn i find MIN myself like described above using Nokia... called customer care thrice...standard response we can't tell u MIN

MSL is your master subsidiary lock ....i guess sadikk must have programmed your handset.......it must b 000000.......MIN is your mobile identification number .....if u have a nokia phone in your hand u can just put ur uim and find out your min .......its a 10 digit code .....just type *3001#12345#...and in nam settings the second or third option ..... ##msl# meansu go to yuor dialpad and in this case type ##000000#....it will openup a serivice window for you to put your mobile no. and ur min but i guess for you best would b to update min ota ........just call tata cc and ask them whteher they have accepted your esn .....or else u can try it on your own likw others uisng nv backup......just talk to them first ... if u cant wait then u can try on your own ...v will all guide you .......but it is a time consuming procedure especially for newbies.... @dhiraj Yes min can bv updated ota on both relance as well as tata....... when i do OTA...it says "ur phone has been activated na dur phone no. is 0000" called up customer care..they said we will revert in a few hours more
