@Sameer : We called already to Customer care and informed to appellate also . In Chennai they had not called us. They had closed the complain without calling to the customer. Don't know why we need to buy world sim. Thought to write a strong mail to the chairman, if not solved then will write to trai.

Seems like almost every members who bought this phone are able to access the data connectivity. I went to Reliance World today and discuss about the problem. Since Reliance almost stops producing the RGE Sim that's why they will bring International Free Roaming sim / World Sim which as per them needs to be worked across the world. We need to be checked how data is connected in World sim and is it really help us to connect or not? Lets keep our finger crossed and will keep you posted guys who belongs from Chennai.

How to send legal notice while complaining ? I need to do the same. @ arindam & other boarders .. i got a call from RCOM customer care informing that internet will now work on honor-holly-2-plus, just switch off & switch on the phone ....there have been some changes they have made in the back-end , can anybody confirm this !! No I am not getting anything @Ankur. Many others rimweb members told today that they are able to connect the data. Even I informed Rcom ,get the SR no from last week. They are reported till yesterday they are working on it via sms.Today As you told I have switched off and switched on the phone. I am not getting it is connected. I am using REC Diamond sim. My sim slot1 holds RIM CDMA Sim, The settings I did in Huawei honor Holly 2 Plus is that Mobile Network. Data Roaming (Trial and Error method , swatch on and off) , Mobile Data Connection Switching Prompt : Automatic System Select : None, APN: Apn Type: default,supl,dun,net,ia remaining are default settings. There is no luck to connect the data.Can anybody please please help me what are the settings change. @arindam , i also got a call from Huawei call centre -- 01416600500 to confirm my IMEID no. , as they are in the process of resolving the issue on asap basis , since i have already returned my handset so could not proceed , suggest you may try . @Ankur : I called Huawei call centre and given my IMEI ID. They told that they will be back in next 24 hours. Hope would heard a good news soon. I will keep my finger crossed to solve the issue

Flipkart and Huawei Customer care says that they will replace the handset not return the handset. I called quite few times they said when the Patch will release they don't know. The Hard reset (Power Button + Up and Down Arrow) it is shown Chinese, How can we get reset. If you get the replace it is not sure the problem will be solved. I chose the color as Gold and Gold color is not available when they will send replace unit I dont know. Please help me members. How can I solve the issue.

@ Tauji , request a feedback after re-inserting the REC sim may be after a day . It is indeed very good that REC sim is latching to EvDO !! I have used REC diamond sim, but Data is not Connecting for me. @tauji Please help me,how can I get the EVDO Service for REC Sim. I got good HSD Speed RGERUC Sim series. I am feeling regretted to change the RGERUC sim to REC sim , seems like just because my CDMA hungriness I missed everything. I went today to reliance care and asked for give me the old sim activation or give me the RGERUC series. They said they can not give me the old sim activation and they don't have the RGERUC sim, they have only REC sim. can you please please guide me how can I get the EVDO connectivity in REC Sim. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

expect this while fk is having lots of offer... so did u receive yet? Yes.. I got my phone. EVDO was working with REC RUC ruim but stopped when i tried using bsnl evdo ruim. Since then, not been able to use evdo. However it has latched to evdo rev a network all the while. Data not working. I will update you guys with a brief review later in the night. Currently in office. Yeah , the same was in my case ....when u insert SIM it latches to EvDO network , then stops & never again latched even if you do a factory re-set( atleast this is in case of REC sim) , not sure in case of RGE sim , @lostjournal i request that you please use RGE sim series before returning the phone if the case may be. conclusion is:- wont it work with RECRUC series RUIM smoothly? anyone tried with RGE series yet? ive purchased again yesterday at Rs. 7646/-\ hoping breakthrough soooon! #cdmahunger I have faced the same problem. When I bought the mobile , I have the old sim which is RGERUC series. Since it is connected good and gives 2.31 Mbps speed. I thought it is not a diamond sim, so i can buy a new diamond sim. After activation it is not getting connected. Now my REC sim is not connecting. I need my old sim needs to be activated.After inserting the New sim I am getting the error SMS from 5712 stating that [sTATUS :Failure! ESN and MEID Both as Empty][Model:][Make:] Can any one here help me to inform me the procedure of activating the old sim instead of new sim. Please let me know. I am eagerly want to know. I have the old sim and old sim cover where all the sim related details are there. Can I reactivate the old sim Since it is working good in old sim. Please help me. Thanks in Advance. Yes , I got almost every time EV,If you not get that can you please send SMS to HSD to 55444 from your Diamond sim and Check with them via Relaince Instacare App. Highest Speed got today 2.31 Mbps as per SpeedTest Android App without Diamond Sim.

Please try this approach Wireless and Data Settings - > More -> Access Points --> Default,supl,ia,net,dun ( this are the checkbox needs to be checked and test the result) It works good for me as of now.
