For last 3 years, I am using HDFC Bank's https://invas01.euronetworldwide.com/Vas/HDFC/Forms/vas_hdfc_home.aspx?custid=hdfc to topup/recharge. But today it is showing the message "Due to some techinal issue, Mobile Recharge transactions have been temporarily stopped until further notice." rechargeitnow.com doesnt allow Rs. 150 recharge. What are the other ways to recharge online ?

A lil deviation from the main subject - I have Karbonn K550 (two GSM). The site says it has bluetooth. However has anybody tried on any karbonn phone to listen music through bluetooth ? Abhishek, did you try this on your KC 750 ? I guess, it is problem with all Karbonns. the bluetooth is not A2DP. Any comments ?

I guess now a days, all new issued cards charge annual fee from the next year. However, I found that Kotak cards are still free for life. Currently, I am using hdfc, hsbc and manhattan but none give cash back. Only problem with HSBC is that they give fuel surcharge waiver in the next statement and sometimes they forget and then give it after two months. In this process, I've found that you loose track of it and effectively you loose on fuel surcharge waiver. HDFC and Manhattan has honest billing. I have manhattan card but they are asking 999 Rs. to upgrade to platinum card. I am planning for Kotak's trump card (gold card) because they are giving 10% cash back on movies, dining and no fees on irctc.

The best Indian mobile so far is Karbonn. I am using Karbonn K550. Excellent quality, excellent battery backup. I am enjoying a true multimedia phone. But yes it is not Querty. Also, it is not CDMA + GSM. Its GSM+GSM. But, if you surf the net, you will find that most of the CDMA + GSM phones have problems. Plz. check the review before buying any CDMA+GSM.

It seems the thread is deviating too much from its original objective. Ppl are not participating for months and it is dying. In Aug 09, I asked in this thread for some tips to gain weight. Dr Mufaddal has shared his thoughts. I started gyming sometime in Jun 09, in approx. one and half month I gained 4 Kg. However, since then I am stagnant. I am still gyming (except there was a gap of 1.5 months). Can anybody tell me where I am lacking ? In the morning I take milk with protein powder. After Approx. 40 mins. I take sprouts - some 100gms. After 2 hrs. at arround 12, I take lunch At 4:10 I take two bananas At 5 I take 5gm. Creatine powder in water in next 10 mints. Gym Immediately after gym, protein powder in water. After 20 mins. 1 banana after 1:30 hrs. - arround 8:30/9 dinner. I just checked my measurements. Compare to june 09, I have gained 1 inch everywhere except neck and shoulder. I gained 3 inch on thighs, 2 inchs on hips. The good thing is that I have not gained on waist which is still 32. Infect I want to reduce it. I am 37, 5' 4". current weight 55.7. I am bit disappointed with the result. Its almost 10 months and no gain. I have tried Prolab's Enlarge2 (between Jul-Aug 09), Quadra's Body Grow (Jaipur made) and Prolab's Pure Whey. Currently taking Masster Nutronik's Creatine Monohydrate (Pune made). I need to buy a new protein powder. Plz. suggest. I am following most of the things regularly. I am still not loosing hopes. I want to gain and most importantly on chest and biceps. Where am I missing ? Why am I not gaining ? My gym instructor has suggested me to go on Prolab's protein capsules. He didnt remember the exact name. Is it advisable to do this ? If yes, what is the exact name ?

As per 8-Mar's Ad. in Times of India, Pune edition, BSNL has now started giving its EVDO device with 3.1 mbps speed. The tariff for the same is Rs. 750/month for UNLIMITED data trasfer ! However the offer is limited till 31-Mar-10. Prepaid plan is also available and tariff is 5 ps/100 KB.

Look at page 1 of this thread. You will see the ad. there. That modem is not ZTE.

I dont know if there is anybody who cares about such lousy plan.

Are you talking about EVDO Rev A (3.1 mbps) or Rev 0 (3.4 mbps) ? I too have Evdo but that is Rev 0. When I compare it with Reliance Broadband+ (I have it too), in my area, Reliance is better than BSNL Evdo. But I know, in some area in Pune, BSNL Evdo is equally good. Currently Rev 0 is available at 750 Rs. So there is a chance that your friend has got Rev 0. You can find out from the modem. If it is ZTE modem then it is Rev 0. If it is Huawei then it is Rev A.

Yes Abhishek, it has been observed so far that Rev A is faster than Rev 0. However, are you sure that you got 75 to 115 kBps speed, or it is kbps speed ? Saket, when I talked to babu at BSNL, I raised the issue of the existing customer having Rev 0. His simple answer to any query was - "we dont have any information. We dont have the new type of devices, we dont know when it will come. we learned about this new 3.1 mbps Evdo from ppl like you. I havnt seen the ad. in our (Marathi) news paper. I agree that there is a communication gap from top to bottom". So there is no question, at least at this time, that what will happen for existing customer.

Just called up BSNL Pune. Talked to an officer at exchange on 020-25665400. And this is what he has to say : "We dont have any information about this device. Some people have called up and asked about it. I heard that this ad. appeared in Times of India, but I have not seen such ad in any of our news paper (he means Marathi news papers). We dont have any instruction about this. I agree that this is a communication gap from top to bottom" Jai Ho BSNL

As I told you in post #11, my friend was about to buy this. Yesterday he got it. But the stupid BSNL people gave him ZTE AC8700 the old modem having max limit 2.4 mbps. He paid Rs.3600 for the device. He was under the impression that this device is for 3.1 mbps. However it is also written on the box that the device supports speed upto 2.4 mbps. Beware, BSNL will fool you if you are not cautious enough.

I have Sony Trinitron TV. Model HM213M80. I want the display of my ThinkPad on the TV. Lenovo T61 has only VGA output. The TV is having standard Video input and Y Cb Cr. Is there a cable available for VGA to Y Cb Cr ? I tried VGA to RCA but it is not working. Plz. help.

If the technology is there, Reliance will be able to adapt it. No other player has this infrastructure in India.

I bought for my dad. Very good looking phone, fully loaded except camera. Really long lasting battery - approx. 4 days. Unbelievable price. If someone is thinking of buying a CDMA handset and doesnt have camera as requirement, this is the end of his search. Highly recommended.

Coming back to the topic - I am not able to find these plans on their website. There are 4 plans on their website - New Flat50, Super 50, Pay per sec, New Sampoorna. What is the source of the Supervalue and Economy plans ?
