Hi, I am a pround owner on 7135. I am using it for alreast last 6 months and I am happy. Now, I am planning to move to US in Jan for long term - may be 3 years or more. I have DAPO scheme and that I will transfer to someother phone. I just want to know one thing, is it possible that I can use the same phone in US ? and How ? If so, I dont want to sell the instrument; if no.... bids are invited

Hi, Right now, I am in USA. I brought Kyo 7135 here. I visited Verizon outlet here in Reading, MA. But they told me that they dont support 7135 anymore. Had it been a different handset, which they support, they would have registered my ESN. This is just an info for the benefit of the forum. I am new to US and dont know much about other CDMA players, I will try to do the same with other CDMA service providers and keep you posted. If anybody knows about them please let me know.

Whatever you are discussing but one thing is clear that till now there is no law/rule in India and not even heard of such things even in abroad which bans unsolicitated SMSes. Yes it is illegal for unsolicitated calls but not for SMS. Post Edited. Please do not spam the board. Puneet.

The AT Command you have Given does not show any Method to send any SMS please Clarify Well... I was not aware that the file didnt have Send method. I came across that file having Qualcomm AT commands so I thought it may be useful. Sorry for the post as it is not of any use.

I have got this file which lists AT commands for Qualcomm. I guess, since LG and Kyocera uses Qualcomm chipset, this can be helpful to HP or other developers. Please let us know your findings. AT_Commands_for_CDMA.pdf

Great work. I wish this could have come some time back as I am on DAPO. But I am soon leaving the country. To use this I can even change my handset from Kyocera to Nokia. Anyway.... keep it up Hetal and be sure, your software is going be MISUSED soon. Its just matter of time when Reliance stops the production of 180 Rs. SMS card. DAPO will fetch good money in resell... many dynamics are going to be changed.... be prepared...

Great work dude. There was no doubt you are a genious but now what ppl call you is perfact - Dr. Ashok. I remember we had a chat once that after upgrading the Firmware, SRCP should not happen. I have upgraded and till now my phone is good. But your post suggests that it can occur even after upgrading to the latest firmware. So I agree with Gids that there should be a video which show the "How to Fix Kyo at home". One suggestion - the next time you fix a Kyo, try to fix it without desoldering and soldering - if that works, I am sure many of us can do the fix, because many of us either dont have the tools for soldering or lacking the skill of it. Please post if just cleaning and heating works. Once again a salute to Dr.Ashok.

Is there any way to know that somobody used my USB port ? Can I detect online or even afterwards that somebody has used USB port on my machine to do anytning like file copying to Pen Drive ? In other words, is it possible to generate log and track activity of USB port to see whether somebody has used either a USB Pen Drive or Card Reader or Camera or any other thing on it ?

Is there any player available for kyocera which can play ogg files. If that is possible you can store almost double the songs on your memory card.

I have read the whole thread from starting and I agree on all the points. But you people are missing one major point. If you are DAPO/Delight customer you still enjoy the best STD RIM-RIM rates. Which is not available on any GSM netwrok. I am sticking to RIM just because of this. Please note that Delight is still available for anybody who wants to enjoy cheapest RIM-RIM STD. I will switch to other alternative when GSM players comes up with cheaper STD rates.

As per the last post, WAP doesnt attract R-Connect charges. Now looking at you capabilities, I am tempted to request you to find out something for Kyo so that we also can use WAP without paying for R-connect.

As per the specification, 6265 has 1070 mAh battery and it seems that it is not of Li-ion type. (http://www.nokia.co.in/nokia/0,,87156,00.html#sa) 6255, 6235 have the same battery ratings and i m sure, users of 6235 might be facing the same problem if they use RWorld/WAP capabilities. http://www.nokia.co.in/nokia/0,,77929,00.html#11 cleary mentions that the talk time is 1hr 15m. I think, nokia should have given a higher capacity battery for 6265. Looking at the fetures and bigger display which, consumes more power compare to modles with small LCDs, if the phone doesnt have good power management the great phone will be of limited use only.

Anyway, Clean Unistaller is for Palm OS5 - instead ask Arun and get Destaller then upload it. PKWrite - man... how come nobody has discussed it here so far ? Its just T9. Well... I have not tested it on my Kyo but I hope it should run without DA Launher. ProfileCare - I think this is the software we all were searching for years. But I doubt it will run on our Kyo as the minimum requirement is Treo600 or 650. Does anybody have such application which can run on Kyo ? PlugForward - is the utility to forward you calls to landline. I think this is not useful in india as they attract the same call charges. PhoneTechnician - is for Treo and even if it works for Kyo what is its utility ? PaymentReminder - I think its a good utility and will help us reminding the RIM bill we have to pay. But it says it uses the palm built in alert for remider which is just pathetic. only one beep once - thats the reason we ppl use BeOntime. So if there is a utility which generates long audible, repetative reminder than it would be good. VKB - is a Virtual Keyboard. Seems a good utility. WordWatch - has three games rfbackup - is equivalent to BackupBuddyVFS, but this one is free under GNU public license. No descrption found for softGPS, KWC SMSRemider, shea hacks MetroPalm seems to be a corrupted zip file.
