Reliance Jio Prime Offer
LTE4G replied to invisiblebond's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
Yes at some places it is mentioned 300 sms now. Just update your MyJio app (v3.2.30) and check on the dashboard wherein it offers a recharge menu with ₹303/- ticked by default along with all other Recharges listed clearly mentioning default Data as well as additional data in separate columns. There is also a check box below enabled for auto recharge option. It offers two buttons viz 'Add to Cart' and 'Remind me Later'. -
Reliance Jio Prime Offer
LTE4G replied to invisiblebond's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
@Hejmady OK! Got it. Yes you are right that now we can earn ₹50/- Cashback on ₹149/- Recharge also. Jio is actually trapping ₹149/- customers by providing this ₹50/- Cashback voucher, since one has to recharge with ₹303/- or more to encash it or loose it otherwise. So by doing this JIO will be able to pull few more users to ₹303/- plan later. Further now Jio is offering 1GB additional to ₹149/- subscribers also along with 2GB basic. Means 2GB + 1GB = 3GB total. -

Cashback is available on all Jio Recharges of ₹99/- and above but it is clearly mentioned that the Cashback redemption voucher can be used against Recharge of ₹303/- and above only under Terms and Conditions point #5 & 7. Where is it mentioned that it can be redeemed against ₹149/-? I Googled but couldn't find any info - Can you post the Source link? -
Reliance Jio Prime Offer
LTE4G replied to invisiblebond's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
AFAIK ₹50/- Cashback is available on any recharge equal to or greater than ₹99/-. The Cashback voucher can be redeemed after 25th March and till 30th June 2017 against recharge value of ₹303/- or above ONLY & not against ₹149/-. Please visit https://www.jiomoney.com/offers.html#jio-prime and check terms. It is clearly mentioned. -

Reliance Jio Prime Offer
LTE4G replied to invisiblebond's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
You are right. Jio prime offer is just to retain the existing customers who have tasted the flavor of unlimited free and might feel suffocated with Data limitations. After 31st Jio will offer new schemes exclusively for MNP customers to pull them onto Jio Network. So those who are still stuck with other networks need not worry about missing Jio Prime Offer. Mukesh Amani is known for playing cards after cards (way back when Reliance CDMA was launched no one expected him to offer handsets for ₹ 500/-). So just wait and watch, the game is on. -
Reliance Jio Prime Offer
LTE4G replied to invisiblebond's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
I just saw there is an option for directly gifting Jio Prime membership from MyJio app to any number - Do check that. Seems Jio Prime membership can be directly given/gifted to any number (either Jio or non-Jio Number). (Not sure) N.B. - I think one Jio user can only buy one Jio Prime Membership at a time, since those who paid twice by mistake or error got refund of the extra amount. It seems that the Prime membership will get activated after 1st April only if another Prepaid Voucher of ₹ 149/- or ₹ 303/- etc. is recharged otherwise it will remain inactive and will be available for transfer. Another option is if anyone Gifts/Transfers his first ₹ 99/- (Jio Prime) recharge to any other number and then again recharges with ₹ 99/- for himself. The recipient can then port his number to Jio and can avail the Jio Prime before 30th June. Its still confusing so please find out with Jio Store. -
Reliance Jio Prime Offer
LTE4G replied to invisiblebond's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
You can ask anyone in your friend circle who already has a Jio Sim to buy an extra Jio Prime membership. His own Jio Prime membership will get activated on 1st April and the extra Jio Prime membership will remain inactive for gift/transfer. That inactive Jio Prime membership can be transfered to your number when you get a Jio Sim after MNP. There after you can also enjoy Jio Prime. But it can be done only until 30th June. After this unused Jio Prime membership voucher will get expired. -

LTE4G replied to invisiblebond's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
This is going to help those also who are stuck due to 90 days MNP restriction. They can ask any of their friend who has Jio to simply buy extra Jio Prime membership voucher and later transfer to them any time before 30th June. Well played Jio.... -
Reliance Jio Prime Offer
LTE4G replied to invisiblebond's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
Jio Prime Offer Clarification (confirmed by customer care). All Jio users should recharge with ₹ 99/- before 31st March. There after you should recharge with either ₹303/-, ₹ 499/- or ₹ 999/- before 31st March to avail extra offer and rest assured that your recharge will become effective from 1st April only. Recharging before 31st will give you additional benefit as 5GB with ₹ 303/-, 10GB with ₹ 499/- & above. Best part is that if you recharge multiple times 303, 499 or 999 etc. All recharges will be stacked in queue one after another and you will also get extra 5GB or 10GB along with main benefits. So if you recharge with 303 three times before 31st March - your plan will start from 1st April and will auto switch after 28 days to second recharge and then to third after next 28 days and so on. You will also get 5GB or 10GB extra with each of them as per eligibility. Jio's unbeatable offer and good thought for advance revenue collection. -
Reliance Jio Prime Offer
LTE4G replied to invisiblebond's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
You can try since you have not changed your operator - AFAIK you have changed the mode of subscription from postpaid to prepaid and it should not be considered as porting or MNP. MNP is switching provider so 90 days restriction should not apply in your case. I would suggest that you should try and see yourself - it should work unless Airtel deliberately stops it. -
Reliance Jio Prime Offer
LTE4G replied to invisiblebond's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
Yes! Jio is always a better option. It is only because of Jio that they forced to offer these plans. You are right. Jio has made them dig their own grave by putting more load on their network. But since quite some people have procured a Jio Sim and the offer is only for few selected users I believe that the service will not deteriorate that much. Yes it is only for prepaid users (existing & new) and for the first time it will give double data & double validity too i.e. 56Gb for 56 days instead of 28Gb for 28 days. Offer is only available to selected users and one should verify by dialing *121# before recharging. They know that they can always block or delay a postpaid MNP request beyond 31st March by creating petty issues regarding bill dues and make you miss Jio Prime offer whereas a prepaid MNP request cannot be withheld for any such reason. -
Reliance Jio Prime Offer
LTE4G replied to invisiblebond's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
Vodafone is offering Free Voice calls & 28GB Data for ₹ 346/- fro 28 Days (Offer valid till 15th March ONLY). Further on first recharge it is giving Buy one get One Free too - Means 56GB Data for 56 days with Free calling Valid for 56 Days for the price of 346/- Dial *121# and check yourself. I am going for this. Act fast before things change. (Jio effect) http://indiatoday.intoday.in/technology/story/vodafone-28gb-4g-data-unlimited-calls-rs-346-beats-jio-price/1/895886.html Quote from the news "Vodafone will also offer double data (56GB) and double validity (56 days) the first time a user activates this pack - 1GB of 4G data daily for 56 days at just Rs 346 might just be the deal of the century." -
Reliance Jio Prime Offer
LTE4G replied to invisiblebond's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
From today onwards we can recharge ₹ 99/- and become Jio Prime member which will get effective from 1st April 2017. As far as Plan is concerned, I think we will have to recharge any Plan on 1st April - since it's validity will start from the date of recharge. For New customers either Prime Membership recharge along with any plan recharge or any other only plan recharge will be mandatory now. -
Reliance Jio Prime Offer
LTE4G replied to invisiblebond's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
₹ 499/- gives 56GB Data @ 2GB/day for 28 days whereas ₹ 999/- gives Only 60GB Data (without speed capping) for 60 days. So I think ₹ 499/- will be more suitable for heavy user since per day limit has been also increased to 2GB. -
MNP to Jio 4g (Postpaid / Prepaid)
LTE4G replied to ayaz_cool's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
"lot of problem.." Can you name a few problems? I am also using Jio since last year September onward. If after porting someone doesn't like Jio he can always port out again after 90 days. -
the best phone for lte carrier aggregation! LYF F1S
LTE4G replied to Selvamuthu Kumar's topic in LYF
This happens sometimes when you call to other networks such as BSNL or Vodafone specially and is not due to the handset but due to the network. Try to reboot your handset and wait for a while and try the same number - it may/should get resolved after 1 or 2 re-dials by disconnecting. Further try calling to some Jio number and check. If it still happens continuously with all numbers/networks then go to LYF service center and get your handset checked. -
How to Increase Reliance Jio's Speed
LTE4G replied to Akshay Adhikari's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
Yes! You are right about confusion. But AFAIK their systems are designed or programmed in such a way that any pack activated will give the user full 24 hours from the time of activation unlike other operators who forfeit plan at midnight irrespective of the time of activation. Though a bit confusing but good for customer as he enjoys full duration irrespective of the time of activation. As far as 7 days are concerned there was a dispute filed by Airtel & Vodafone which was under consideration of TRAI in the 1st week which might have forced them to convert their 90 days plan into weekly mode instead imho.- 32 replies

How to Increase Reliance Jio's Speed
LTE4G replied to Akshay Adhikari's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
Actually it happens every 7 days - "Happy New Year Offer" is renewed every 7 days and on the seventh day according to the time of Plan activation 1 GB is divided into two chunks ( approx 800 MB and 250 MB ). You will notice this happen when the app shows "upcoming Plan cued" on the same page when you slide upwards as it approaches 7th day. Normally the data gets reset at approx. 1:30 A.M. but when it is divided into two chunks it gets reset twice during one 24 hour cycle on pro rata basis . After renew you will get the balance (1024MB - 252.93MB) for balance hours till the 1:30 A.M. reset time - after which the cycle will become 1GB per 24 hour. You can monitor yourself and check as I did. Hope this helps.- 32 replies

Instead of manually zooming try double tapping on the specific column or place and that particular column will zoom and fit the screen. Again double tap to go back to full page view. Further if some sections do not exactly zoom fit your screen then you can always manually correct it. Hope this double tap may help you.

Good News is that JioNewsPaper App is now available for phone too (earlier it was exclusively available for Tablet only). Good effort towards GO GREEN and save tree. Best part is while traveling you will not have to settle for any local newspaper because now you can read your preferred newspaper anywhere anytime. It can be read only after downloading so it is always available offline for reading whether there is internet available or not. Further you can also mark your favorite Newspapers for auto download and it will be available (downloaded) in your device early morning as soon as it is released online. Previous issues are also available and you can save clippings too just like newspaper cutouts of any specific news, advertisement or article. Rightly said that JIO is a plethora of PM's vision of DIGITAL INDIA and not just any other Mobile phone connection.

MyJio App app update 3.2.23 released on 2nd Jan 2017 has incorporated some New features as mentioned below :- Now there are 2 tabs DASHBOARD and BALANCE on the main page - see below. Balance tab shows the amount of Data balance out of total 1GB (valid for 1 day / 24 hours) along with the Reset time below when the 1GB fresh quota will get renewed again. Please note this Reset time is different for different users and not Midnight (I compared my and my wife's Data reset time to find out this). Under the plan now only Current plan is visible unlike before where all the plans including Base plan valid till 2036 was also shown.
