Did you dial 1977 from Jio4GVoice ?
-
Oh ! My mistake. I didn't notice it was data card.
-
Finally !! As expected Rcom has started REWARDING their loyal customers (those who still have not dumped Rcom) with Surprise bills. I would suggest to clear the bill and port out immediately.

New connections are having speed issues - May be is being throttled or limited by Jio. OR Jio Network still needs tweaking as speed fluctuates between different bands. Either New JioFi devices or SIMs are differently programmed so as to set the priority of default Band for connecting.

Go to Mobile network (Cellular Network) and try disabling VoLTE (Switch off Enhanced 4G LTE Mode and reboot). Re-install Jio4GVoice and see if works or not.
-
No! Voice & Video calls will not work using Jio4GVoice in a VoLTE enabled phone. Voice & Video Calls will work with default dialler only on a VoLTE enabled phone. Making calls through VoLTE feature is more stable plus it doesn't use your mobile data (voice as well as video works even if data is kept 'off' whereas you need to keep data constantly 'on' for Jio4GVoice app to work). Why you want to use Jio4GVoice app instead? Any specific reason. You can try this -> Manually Disable VoLTE and Reboot -> Then try using Jio4GVoice and see if it works.

Did you complete your Tele-verification for data by calling 1800-890-1977 from your alternate number ? After doing so you will be able to use Jio4GVoice to dial 1977 and tele-verify for activating voice. Only then your Jio4Gvoice will start working for voice & video calls. Otherwise insert the sim in any VoLTE handset and dial 1977 directly for Tele-verification for activating voice. Therafter you can put the sim back in your non VoLTE handset and configure Jio4GVoice app to use voice and video calls. Voice and Video call will not work until you dial 1977 and tele-verify once again. Added instructions for non-VoLTE handsets users in the main topic.

You can Sign into your account by using your Number / email ID / Jio ID with the single common password. You are not clear what you want ? Do you mean that you are able to sign in using your both email ID ? If so then wait for the system to get updated before making any further changes in your account. When you change your email ID - your new email ID becomes your Jio ID by default once you verify your new email address. To change the email - it is better you should sign in using your number instead. It is better to make profile changes by signing in through browser by going to www.jio.com instead of MyJio App. Further log out from all applications before changing your email. Did you sign JioSecurity using your original email ID ?

There is NO solution as it is impact of Network Saturation. As the number of subscribers is increasing Jio must take some effective measures to meet the excessive data bandwidth otherwise genuine users will be bound to dump the SIM even before the JWO is over.

If it is working in LYF it should work in Lenovo too. After recharging with ₹299.00 it takes some time for the data to get activated, so now if it is working in LYF handset it should work in Lenovo as well. Rcom data is valid for all over India so no question of roaming or not roaming. Rcom 4G works on band 3/5/40 so if your phone doesn't have band 5 it should still work on Band 3/40.

You can only configure Jio4GVoice if data is working on your handset. Did you activate data by calling 1800-890-1977 (Tele-verification) from your alternate/other mobile ? If yes then configure your Jio4GVoice with your number (Number allotted to you by Jio e.g. 700XXXXXXX ). If you don't know your number then check the welcome message sms sent by Jio to your alternate number. If you deleted the message then simply download MyJio app and log into your account by tapping Skip Sign in and you can see the number on the top.

MNP to Jio 4g (Postpaid / Prepaid)
LTE4G replied to ayaz_cool's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
As I said before they are issuing Prepaid only and may come up with Postpaid conversion offer (with security deposit) later next year for individuals. Since collecting security deposit cheques etc. will be extra work at present. Next year they may come up with some online payment of security deposit and online application for coversion from Prepaid to Postpaid as the account will get verified againt Aadhar by itself and no new form will be required (only for aadhar based everified customers). BTW Mukesh is known for his ideas & offers for pulling customers. -

MNP to Jio 4g (Postpaid / Prepaid)
LTE4G replied to ayaz_cool's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
In Mumbai Data speed is crawling like 2G and calling Tata Docomo takes 4-6 attempts & Vodafone takes 8-15 attempts whereas connects to Reliance Rcom 4G immediately. Only Jio Intranet is working fine (JioTV, JioCinema, JioMusic etc.). @KanagaDeepan Yes the crowd at Mumbai has also reduced drastically due to e-KYC. Will try porting one of my number next week. -
I am getting 1GB 3G/3G for 28days (Prepaid) since April this year.
-
Send sms START to 1925.
-
Clear app data and re-configure Jio4GVoice with the current SIM. It should work.

MNP to Jio 4g (Postpaid / Prepaid)
LTE4G replied to ayaz_cool's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
Mukesh Ambani is here to do business and not charity. The reason behind giving Free is to import as much as users on their network so that the network gets over saturated (Because the low ARPU users try to squeeze the last bit of data which otherwise they cannot afford to). He wants to make sure that the system shall perform well in future - so by doing so he will be able to test the load capacity and stability of his network as well. Further being a business man he will also be able to release payment of the company who is commissioning the project across India once he is convinced that the system is OK for handling extreme load (conducting real time thorough testing). As far as calls are concerned Jio themselves are responsible for call drops - By doing so they are tarnishing the image of competitors as well as savings money which they have to pay as interconnect charges otherwise. Just the way they have put a limit of 4GB for data - likewise they have also put a limit in their network for total number of calls to through to other networks which costs money to them. Out of total subscribers hardly 20% of the users will be heavy users whereas 70% will be average users and 10% will be light users once the charges are imposed after commercial launch. So finally when FREE scenario will be over the Jio performance will surge up suddenly. But as KanagaDeepan said Jio should not Drag/extend this FREE scheme beyond January otherwise it will obviously have adverse affect as well as give opportunity to AVoID to hold back customers with new lucrative offers (which they have already started). Instead of FREE they should have given the SIM for some kind of advance 3 months deposit/subscription which would be adjusted once the commercial services start and shall be binding - then the things would have been different and only genuine users would have approached for the SIM. At the moment any TOM DIC-K & HARRY is just taking a SIM for 3 months FREE RIDE and believe me will never ever use JIO once the free period is over. So although Jio may succeed in having millions of subscribers in their customer base but the active users will be much less than that after commencement of the commercial launch. Good luck JIO!!
