Because you must have configured Jio4GVoice on a different hardware device for the same number - and now the number is attached to that hardware device. So if you try to activate Jio4GVoice on another hardware device it will not allow.
-
On a VoLTE enabled handset (even if the app wrongly detects that the handset is VoLTE) it should show this. Try disabling VoLTE and see if dialing shows up. Jio should fix Jio4GVoice ASAP.

Comes in cylindrical packing.

If they block IMEI then data will also not work, means SIM will fail to register.

iPhone iPad on Jio network
LTE4G replied to trajesh's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
iphone 6 and above supports VoLTE. Jio4GVoice is only available for Android. -
IMHO they should add an option to select/deselect native dialer for voice, video etc. so that video calls could be made even if the handset doen't support.
-
Looks good - price ? Same ₹1999.00 or...
-
"You are not allowed to .....on this device." Because you have configured it on your other device.

Net neutrality is the principle that Internet service providers and governments regulating the Internet should treat all data on the Internet the same, not discriminating or charging differentially by user, content, website, platform, application, type of attached equipment, or mode of communication. Throttle ?? Download speed depends on several factors such as server load, node etc. and not merely the ISP. So it varies from site to site and while downloading app from google playstore it also depends that how many user are downloading the same app simultaneously from the same download server.

JIO SIM without LYF handset
LTE4G replied to vishalgupta171's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
Yes Jio4GVoice is associated with the Mobile number as well as device and will work on 1 handset only. I don't know how to unregister but you can try the below given method which is for cofiguring Jio4GVoice with JioFi device. Sign in to MyJio and go to manage device and remove the serial no. listed there and try to re-register Jio4GVoice in your handset. Otherwise you will have to call customer care and provide relevant details such as IMEI etc. and they will fix it. BTW did you try clearing the data and re-installing Jio4GVoice with the SIM in the handset ? -
Since you have native VoLTE support voice and video calls will be made using default dialer only.
-
OK ! One should avoid using AVoID as alternate number for OTP for faster results.

JIO SIM without LYF handset
LTE4G replied to vishalgupta171's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
Did you register Jio4GVoice on any other handset for the same number/SIM ? -
Clear data - uninstall & reinstall Jio4GVoice - it should work. By the way which another phone did you use the sim in ? was it VoLTE ? Because once VoLTE gets registered Jio4GVoice will stop working on other handset. Update: Jio4GVoice now works with VoLTE also. MyJio app shows my connection as "Prepaid - VoLTE" & I think those who are not using VoLTE handsets must be marked differently.

Read My experience : http://www.rimweb.in/forums/topic/37866-reliance-jio-sim-activation-related/?do=findComment&comment=331642 It will take approx. 2 hours to receive the link and after clicking it though it will say that it has been verified - you will not be able to log in using email as ID. Solution: Sign in using 'Skip sign in' in MyJio app. Change your password and log out. Go to www.jio.com using the browser. Login to your account using your number 70XXXXXXXX in place of email. Now if a pop up comes saying verify your email - verify using the OTP sent on your alternate number. If there is no pop up - you can update your email in the profile. Once your email appears in the profile email you can either use your number 70XXXXXXXX or email ID as 'Jio ID' and sign in using the same password. Hope that helps !

It would be the best thing if they do it. -

Yes !! but what I meant was that we should expose such retailers (termites) and not encourage corruption just for the sake of securing a Jio SIM at any cost. -
Did you try this - it will work. In your handset go to the DIALER >> SETTINGS >> CALL SETTINGS >> Select SIM/NETWORK >> CALL FORWARDING
-
AFAIK it is network feature which can be invoked by handset because the network diverts a call conditionally - Network diverts the call to specific number saved on the server in response to whether the phone is online or offline or switched off. Where is the role of handset except invoking the feature ? I think that they basically meant that you can activate or deactivate this feature using your handset and cannot be invoked from their end. So try to activate it using your handset instead of dialing code which use to work in CDMA. Go to DIALER >> SETTINGS >> CALL SETTINGS >> Select SIM/NETWORK >> CALL FORWARDING
-
It was foresighted. Will be renamed also.

OK! Some people survived the 4G upgrade Nightmare and some are still struggling to find a way out.
-
Reason Why I used "left in dilemma" Who said 'forced conversion' - Read my post carefully "CDMA user never wanted to upgrade but were forced by Rcom". And a CDMA handset user would have opted for MNP - to which CDMA Network ? Whose stupidity/ignorance user or Rcom? Some users bought costly CDMA handsets and data cards just months before - Yes it was there stupidity as they were suppose to know that Rcom is going to give them a situation/blow where they will be left in dilemma. Rcom was committed to CDMA users as the validity was till 20-07-2021 and Rcom very cleverly shut down CDMA services in the name of upgrade to 4G. We can understand that 1x to EVDO or EVDO rev.A to EVDO rev.B can be concluded as an upgrade since it provides backward compatibility. But an upgrade which is a complete change of technology - that too for existing more than 5 million subscribers ? No body considered to compensate the equipment cost loss of the user by way of providing free service at least for a while, instead revoked the 10 GB promise as well. Really SAD! Give a second thought to who is responsible for such harassment / suffering for so many...... Basically it was CDMA shut down exercised in disguise of 4G upgrade - some users struggled during the upgrade process while some ported out trying to retain their numbers and those who had CDMA only handsets were forced to buy new handsets whether they port out or stayed with Rcom 4G. As per your opinion Rcom did not force anybody and it was user's stupidity/ignorance since they stayed with Rcom for so many years.

Was it really optional ? what were the options - I have already mentioned in my previous edited post.
