Don't risk your money. Call CC and get it confirmed first before attempting to recharge. There are several false recharge posted in My services just to pull money and they won't return and neither you will get any benefit. Dial *129# and check if ₹148 offer is listed there.

Reliance Jio launched on September 5
LTE4G replied to praveenwarrier's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
Take the Samsung phone to service center - they will fix it (Hardware issue). I faced similar issue in a 3G handset (Xolo) which used to work properly outside but very low signal inside - tested with all viz. Vodafone, Reliance & MTNL SIM. The network was full in other handset so I took the Xolo handset to the service center and showed them by swapping SIM in two handset. The set was taken and got repaired (motherboard replaced for free). Now that handset is working fine since last year. -
Yes! this (Freedom 350) is RGSM 3G plan.

Jio is doing Business while Fine tuning their LTE network (Beta testing & tweaking) - Doing Business by way of selling their huge inventory of LYF mobiles and JioFi devices without spending money for market development or advertisement. Buyers can only report/complain but cannot take legal action against Jio or claim for any disruption in services regarding calls, data or apps as all services are offered FREE and not charged commercially since the network is stil under testing. By the time the services become stable and commercially chargeable (1st Jan 2017) - they will already have a large number of subscribers (because of the FREE offer) with almost 80 - 90% issues fixed in the Network without spending any money for market development or advertisement. Whereas Airtel & Vodafone spend too much on promotion. Reliance Jio will be able to sustain lower prices in future too because they will have more ARPU (average revenue per user) compared to others because almost everybody is availing (or wanting to avail) Jio's FREE welcome offer. Nobody offers unlimited free voice or data for even for one week and here it is for approx 4 months. Even if some one takes a SIM in November or December he will still get everything for free for one month at least. Take my words "Every one loves FREE things" I know some people criticising Jio and found that they were the first to obtain Jio SIM. And now they are complaining that this 4GB limit per day was not expected from Jio (Look who is complaining - the person never ever took more than 2GB/month plan in his life).

MNP to Jio 4g (Postpaid / Prepaid)
LTE4G replied to ayaz_cool's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
There is no Blue pouch SIM available anywhere in Mumbai at any store at present - I have visited at least 9 stores and all of them had only the prepaid (Orange pouch). They are not entertaining postpaid request because of this. -
Thread title changed to Jio4GVoice.

Aren't you aware of price drop by Jio ? Even LYF handsets are now offered at discounted price. It is CLEARANCE SALE !! will last till 31st December 2016 & don't be surprised if LYF handsets are offered FREE with 1 & 2 year subscription (Advance Rental) 1st Jan 2017 onward as NEW YEAR BONANZA.

4G Bands supported by HTC M9 : LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800), 28(700), 38(2600), 40(2300), 41(2500) - EMEA LTE band 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 12(700), 17(700), 29(700) - AT&T LTE band 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 7(2600), 12(700), 17(700) - T-Mobile LTE band 4(1700/2100), 13(700) - Verizon Bands differ from region to region. Check your model - the RF module (Hardware) should be present to enable specific Band. The receiver can receive all frequencies and filter according to Band but specific transmitter (Radio module) is required for different Bands and frequencies. So even if you can see the Network while scanning and don't have RF module (Hardware) for transmitting over that Band, you cannot establish connection. So basically manufacturers leave the receiver section as is (can scan all Bands) but remove RF transmitter module to reduce cost. But in most cases all hardware is present and just Bands are disabled through software (region wise) and can be enabled using tweak.

Are you able to latch to 4G using the same SIM in different handset at the same location?
-
When JioFi is available for ₹1999.00 with free data and calls till 31st December 2016 - who is going to buy those Reliance 4G Wi-Pods's ? People are asking ₹1000 - ₹3200 on OLX. Thank God! I didn't buy (Wise decision) - used my data SIM in my handset to consume 10GB 4G data instead though received several calls from reliance.

MNP to Jio 4g (Postpaid / Prepaid)
LTE4G replied to ayaz_cool's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
The reason is - stores only have Prepaid SIM with pre alloted numbers. So they cannot entertain MNP customers since they don't have Blank SIM to issue. Further they are not giving Postpaid connections too at the moment - please revert if anybody succeeded in getting a Postpaid Jio since Jio Welcome Offer. Even Prepaid SIMs are EXHAUSTED in some stores and will be available after 15th September !! -
I am talking about the link (https://jioplay.in/jio/#/login?origReq=) which can run Jio tv directly on PC browser just by signing in. Not by the way of using Android emulator.
-
Rcom is in a state of coma - no activity related to modification of Packs or Plans whereas Jio is creating news every other day.
-
Raise a ticket. This is Reliance Network issue - we also faced same issue in Mumbai for few days when we could see the network but couldn't latch on to it. It got solved by itself for some over two three days.
-
Does manual scan lists Reliance 4G ?
-
After inserting the SIM try manual scan and see if Jio is discovered/listed.
-
Is the SIM you are trying is already activated ?

Band 5 is missing in that. I am also searching for similar device with Band 3/5/40 along with 3G bands too so that it can be used with any network anywhere irrespective of the type of network availability. Though JioFi unlocking is also expected in future. -
Jio offer code on Ipad 4 mini Cellular
LTE4G replied to Kalaichelvi's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
Though Code generated is IMEI specific (means if you regenerate the code you will not get different but the same code again on same handset). But the SIM can be easily activated in any VoLTE handset and is not locked to any IMEI anymore.
