Actually you should have inserted "simultaneously" after "4g works in both slots...". Reason I misunderstood you - sorry. -
Which is best: Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 or LeEco Le 1s
LTE4G replied to sachinsachu's topic in Handset Suggestions
These days there are quite some models which support 4G on either SIM - means You can select either Slot 1 as 4G and Slot 2 as 2G or Slot one as 2G and Slot 2 as 4G. So you can use two 4G SIM and can switch LTE network between them without changing slot just from settings. These are marketed as 4G + 4G Dual standby (* any one of the slot can be 4G at a time) The model I am using Lava X11 is one of such Model (4G + 4G) with VoLTE and I can select either Slot 1 as primary or Slot 2 as primary (The slot which is set to primary becomes 4G and has option of either LTE/WCDMA/GSM or WCDMA/GSM or WCDMA Only or GSM Only and also LTE Only mode if only any one SIM slot is used and other is empty. Lava X11 also supports VoLTE which can be enabled or disabled as per requirement. -
This is today's development - read below for more information: http://www.moneycontrol.com/news/cnbc-tv18-comments/cnbc-tv18-exclusive-vodafone-ideaexploratory-talks-for-mega-merger_7326061.html http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/tech/tech-news/Vodafone-India-Idea-Cellular-in-merger-talks-Report/articleshow/53827184.cms http://telecom.economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/vodafone-india-idea-cellular-in-exploratory-merger-talks-report/53825870 http://www.ibtimes.co.in/vodafone-idea-cellular-exploratory-mega-merger-talks-report-690939

This is ONLY listed under Mumbai circle. Was working for few in the beginning but does not work anymore though is still listed.

Thread should be moved to Reliance Jio - Misc.

₹97 recharge fails and the amount gets refunded (seems it is FRC for the new migrators from RGSM to 4G). While chatting with CC I was advised to ignore that (Rcom making fool of us). I tried ₹51 listed under DATA_COMBO option while recharging online or through myservices or instacare (Says 1GB Data for 15 days) and instead got the roaming pack as mentioned on 4G page on Rcom website. I have filed complain that why such misguiding recharge options are there - let's see what happens.

JIO SIM without LYF handset
LTE4G replied to vishalgupta171's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
Now SIM is available for any 4G enabled phone. http://telecomtalk.info/reliance-jio-to-soon-extend-preview-offer-to-everyone/156275/ -
Yes ! It would be appreciated if unread lists only the Topic list with link to first unread post in each topic - so that one can continue from that particular post onward.

I got confused since you have mentioned City:Mumbai in your profile. Did you try generating MNP code?

₹299 plan is for Maharashtra - Minimum for Mumbai circle is ₹249 (which gives only 1GB 4G data and 1p/sec call rates). Voice Pack of ₹99 gives local 300 mins free/discounted and .30p/min call rates. Do check with customer care as the plans show on website are not always correct.
-
I would suggest you to go for Indian - you will not have to worry anything apart from the price.

Send sms START to 1925 to start the data services. After that if still it does not work then check your APN settings. Link for APN settings : http://www.rimweb.in/forums/topic/37815-need-help-with-iphone-5c-hotspot/?do=findComment&comment=330811

This is for CDMA customers as well as CDMA to 4G migrated customers AFAIK. I may be WRONG. But several Migrated customers tried to port out without success. If you succeed do let me know. Rcom has messed up everything.
-
You can not port now - you could have ported out if you would have applied before 16th August (Last date for Mumbai Circle). Read the TRAI notice on http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/aboutus/news/4G-notice.html OR Download the TRAI notice from http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/aboutus/news/pdf/4G/4G-Notice-Ad-Mumbai-English.pdf Now your Port out request will not be entertained before 90 days (i.e. till 14th November).

Select simplest plan and Tolerate them till October and finally give them a Kick.

This is stopping me to use Rcom 4G - I am using Vodafone 4G and RGSM 3G connection for data instead.

Thanks for the info! I don't know why Reliance is digging their own grave by making 3G and 4G pool different. I was told by one of the CC that "if you don't have 4G phone still you can use 4G data in 3G mode without loosing Core balance" which is not true. I was in doubt so I didn't recharge, otherwise I would have got stuck as that particular SIM is being used in a 3G mobile set by my wife.

Reliance Jio - Pan India 4G / LTE network
LTE4G replied to Arun's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
"local retailers" means ?? any mobile shop ?? or Reliance Digital and Express. -
Nice to see that FORUM has been re-organized - Good job. Something still missing - Profile section still has Reliance CDMA option where as Reliance CDMA Network is no more available AFAIK. Profile section also needs revamping.
