Dear Guru's I bought an unlocked At&T Htc One x Plus shipped from USA for use of my Reliance GSM sim. Since it was unlocked i could use it over Reliance GSM network. But i couldnt tether my GPRS as it was locked to AT&T.( also wanted to remoe all ATT Stock aplications ) Hence i researched on XDA and found out that rooting would help. So after days research finally today i decided to give it a go. To begin with i unlocked the bootloader using fastboot commands after submitting the token id. on www.htcdev.com and successfully unlocked the bootloader. (( i tried to use hasoons OneX+_All-In-One_Kit but it never let me do anything )) For rooting i downloaded RootBoot-1.14.206.16-O2 and did just as they said. But now the phone is stuck on att logo and does not go any further. I guess i have done something worng here. I even tried finding the ruu file so that i could flash it back to stock but am not able to find it. Can any one help me to restart the handset. I wouldnt mind even if its not rooted, but dont want a priced heavy weight. thanks in advance. vickSs

Hello Friends, Off lately i am facing a unique problem. First i had HTC Hero whose MEID i got registered through one of our Forum legend i.e Sadik bhai. After purchasing HTC Incredible, i got my number transferred from HTC Hero to HTC Incredible through Webworld ( mumbai ). Everything was fine unless now when i wanted to give my handset to one of my pal. He went to Webworld ( Pune ) to get his number transferred from his reliance sim to HTC Hero. On service request the webworld guy transferred the number from sim to HTC Hero but the services could not be activated on HTC Hero. After detailed study the Webworld guys said that the ESN and MIn are having problem ( not matching ). As suggested by Sadik Bhai and Muffadal bhai i asked the Webworld guys again but same answer, they are saying that you need to get your handset's software right and for that take your handset to HTC store. On visiting HTC Store the store guys said that this is a sprint handset and we are unable to provide you assistance for the same. Frankly i am totally confused as to whats the situation and what should be done. My neighbor also is facing the same problem when he tried to give his handset. Is there any solution to this unique problem ? Help appreciated. Thanks in advance. vickSs

I recently ported one of my number from CDMA to GSM. My experiences so far has been the best.Icing on the cake is the data plan of 99 where in i get 2.5 GB data per month.As far as the network is concerned i haven't faced any issues, no call drops no network congestion.Frankly i am very happy till date.More ever places where i had troubles with network in CDMA seem to be resolved with GSM. Just wanted the fellow rimwebians to know.

I too had same problem after ordering a washing machine from tmtara had to fight for couple of months and finally received my entire amount back. You should send mails to lot of people and also call up a lot of people, do let me know if you want to know the details.

LATEST UPDATE :- After long fight with the Webworld Guys my pal just got his number back on sim card. The guys said that the RSN is not in out datavase ( i.e blocked ) Can any one tell me how to get the RSN unblocked so that i could be able to transfer number on the handset. Thanks in advance.

Hetal Bhai, it says you cannot receive new messages. Handset status as on 12/07/2012 , 07:38:44 PM with RSN A1000012362419 : will NOT work with a Postpaid GSK, Prepaid GSK and a HCC.

After sending ODR and RSN at 53738 it reads : request could not be processes. Please check your entry and try again.

Hi.. I am having my droid pro. Firstly let me tell you am a real noob and in real haste i have messed my cell. I was on stock 2.3.5 and found out about apex rom. Hence i rooted my cell with pete's motorola root tools sucessfully. Then i installed clockworkmod recovery. Then i copied the apex rom zip file onto sd card and loaded it through rom manager. But since it failed i went manually through recovery and loaded the rom. After successful installation my cell got stuck on the Apex screen in a loop. Hence i tried to go to recovery but was unable to. I thought i had bricked my cell and hence loaded SBF 2.26.20 through rsd lite. But every time in the end it says failed. The screen reads Bootloader 03.0A Code Corrupt Battery OK OK to proceed Transfer Mode : USB. i do have extra batteries and external battery charger. Please help me to unbrick my cell and making it work again. Thanks in advance.
