Issue of Royal is only for Entry Level Phone. Which Affect is Cost for 5%. It is not at all the Issue for Higher End phone from Rs 6000 Onwards. 9. Windows Mobile 6.0 (crossbow)

Some Major Works done in Windows Mobile 6 The new version of operating system is destined to fill the time gap between Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile Photon (Windows Mobile 7.0?). Truly significant updates are few, which, on top of that, are aimed at reacting to the change in the market environment. Early in 2007 Microsoft is thoroughly revamping its software range with Windows Vista, Office 2007, MS Exchange 2007. Therefore, against such impressive background an updated version Windows Mobile was simply bound to come out. The manufacturers are getting RTM version of Windows Mobile Crossbow in November, 2006 – in light of this fact we predict first devices running on WM 6.0 to be released by the end of 2Q, 2007. The list of companies ready to upgrade old devices up to WM 6.0 includes only HP and E-Ten for the time being. Launch of devices based on Windows Mobile Crossbow will strengthen Microsoft’s position on the market of enterprise devices, as Windows Mobile-powered solutions, sooner or later, will be treated as complementary products with MS Exchange. Most of new features found in the new operating system are targeted at providing smoother integration with MS Exchange 2007. The list of major changes introduced in Windows Mobile 6.0 for Pocket PC: Revamped outlook, refined icons; Totally re-mastered sound theme; Increased interface speed; Bundled IP-telephony (VoIP, SIP standard); Smart Dial 2.0, fast search through contacts, call history; removable on-screen virtual keyboard; Any tune can be assigned to any event; Support for shortcuts in Outlook Mobile; Full-fledged meetings arrangement system; Support for HTML in messages; Smart Filter – handy and fast search through messages; Numerous MS Exchange 2007-tailored changes; Integration with Windows Live online-services; Marketplace – purchase, download, and install directly from the device; Encryption – bundled memory card encryption Regrettably, this world lacks miracles and this case is just another proof of that. The system still doesn’t offer support for several active windows in Internet Explorer, so that you are limited to a single window at a time, also profiles are missing in WM; the office applications haven’t been enhanced either. Nor were the multimedia tools. What the company has really got to do is keep on tuning Office Mobile, extending Windows Live, release Windows Media Mobile 11 and so on.

Nope Kumaar We dont have to Dream only. I have already downloaded AKU3.3 and AKU3.5 the Patched / Hacked Unofficial Upgrade for PPC6700 which look better than the original WinMob 6 with so many Best Software in Extended ROM, Some Stability Issue is there. I have not Tried it on PPC6700. UTStar will itself ome with AKU3.5 in Mid 2007 which will definately bring down the gap between WinMob 5 & 6 Let Hope for the Best

even user's guide doesn't say anything about brightness or contrast settings... mentioned in official features list though... This is only Possible through Nokia Service Tools like Phoenix 2006 or any other Service Software. I had done some Contrast and Brightness Setting but Belieave me The Original Setting is the Best and Never Try to Disturb it. I myself can not now Revert to the Original One.
  15. Microsoft only have Tri Band based HSDPA (Higher version of WCDMA) Based phone which Works on 850 Mhz, 1900 Mhz and 2100 Mhz. Blackberry is still missing on 3G Tech. Latest Blackberry Pearl only support GPRS & EDGE. Pearl get failed in USA in sales front as Major Cingular Phone are Usporting WCDMA and in Some Selected City HSDPA based system. GPRS and EDGE is too slow with max speed of 236 K compared to 1.2 Mbps in HSDPA in USA.
  16. Hey man. I think Microsoft Based Products are Far Better than Blackberry. We can very well set Gmail or Any Pop Based mail into PPC-6700 or Windows Mobile 5 Edition I know the BlackBerry have Push mail but same is the Case fo other also. Definately Blackberry Sole handset is very much Appealing but Win Mobile 5 with availability of more than 20000 Software to run on it makes it more Powerfull and Customisable. Only Problem is the Bulkyness. But New Samsung BlackJaq, Moto Q, Samsung New SCG / SCH 760, Imate Jaq is the Slimmet we can have this Mobile with Same Punch of Processor Power. and Of Course Now Win Mobile is available in Wide Range of Fortune 500 Manufacturer. Now Windows Mobile is Supported by HTC, HP-Compaq, UTStar, Samsung, Palm, Motorola, Dopod, LG (in Upcoming), Asus, Benq, Gigabyte, Sony (Sony vio Palm), Fujitsu & Toshiba in Japan Windows is a Open Standard to Impletement so the Munufacturer get choice of Hardware, Chipset like MSM6500 to MSM7600 from Qualcomm, Processor from Texas Instruments, Samsung, Intel etc.

  18. New Samsung Sch-i760

Samsung i760 for Verizon: yep, it runs Crossbow Every time we see Crossbow, we're reminded of something else... oh yeah, that's right, Windows Mobile 5. Don't get us wrong, it looks a little slicker, but the i760's attraction is more likely to lie the hardware itself -- not the ultra-mild update to the Pocket PC Phone Edition guts we've loved (and hated) for the past couple years. We expect this thing to hit Verizon stores before the first half of the year is out, but with Verizon, Samsung, and Microsoft all potentially weak links in the delivery chain, we're having a bugger of a time staying positive. Don't let us down, folks! Samsung i760 for Verizon
  19. Windows Mobile 6.0 (crossbow)

There wil be Three Different Version Windows Mobile 6 Standard (For Smartphones) Windows Mobile 6 Professional (For Advance PocketPC Phone) Windows Mobile 6 Classic (For PocketPC Phone)
  20. New Samsung Sch-i760

What a better way to usher in the Crossbow Age than with this hot little number from Samsung? Roc A Fella and HTC Kid have again hooked us up with some details on the CDMA rendition of its i760 Pocket PC phone, taking on a decidedly different appearance from its GSM cousin by pushing the keypad to the right and the directional pad to the left. It looks like Verizon is all lined up to get this bad boy come Q2 of next year, packing a little next-gen Windows Mobile action in the process (though what we've seen so far suggests it ain't much more than a reskin). Specs (for those who can't be bothered to peep the image) include 128MB of ROM and 64MB of RAM, 802.11b / g, microSD expansion, and a sliding QWERTY keypad. Mix in just a touch of that glorious EV-DO broadband, and it looks like we've got yet another winner in Verizon's '07 bumper crop -- if Crossbow stays on schedule, that is. As per Packet Left Bottom Label it seems it will launched in USA in Second Quarter
  21. New Samsung Sch-i760

  24. Should Tele Marketing Be Banned ?
