My handset is rooted. I have tried to install gujarati fonts. But it shows some error EROFS or like that. System file is read only. but when I saw properties, it shows editable. What should i do?

How can I install indian fonts on this device. I am unable to read gujarati wordings on this device

I have purchased HTC evo 3d unlocked for reliance. Also I have transferred my number in handset. But my data connection neither default 2g or evo is working. Also I am unable to send sms. I am getting error code 98 saying that data connection can not be established. Please anyone tell me the procedure to enable data connection on my handset.

Hello I have purchased coolpad 2838 last week from reliance web world. The cost of it was Rs. 7500/-. Its nice looking phone than 2938. Some features of the phones are 1. 1000 phone book entry with email and memos. We can store contacts directly from computer also using coolpad suite. Just type in computer and transfer it to mobile. 2. 1000 sms storage 3. Private mode. This is good feature in which you can store your private number, tasks etc. 4. 2 mp camera. But I don't like photo quality of it. Flash is also not available. 5. It is on brew platform so no outside applications run on this phone. You have to buy it from brew shop at price. unfortunately there are very limited applications for it. I don't know why there are not more applications or games for brew platform (even simple games like chess and sudoku etc) 6. memory support upto 2 gb. 7. It is not multi tasking phone. You can do one task at one time only. Suppose if you are listening to music, then you can not do sms or call at the same time. You have to close player then only you can do sms or any other application (very sad). 8. call recording facility. 9. Sound clearity is good. 10. Brew application is not proper. Sometimes when it runs, the phone switch offs and switch on again automatically.

I am unable to send any Jar file via bluetooth. Is there any software to send any type of files to another mobile via bluetooth or infrared or so??

I have purchased latest handset LG RD6230. In handset R world is working on brew platform. But right now not much applications are there. I want to know, if anyone with old handset with brew platform can access full R world (including audio/video streaming, aaj tak etc, MMS)or only a part of it? regards Niranjan

Hi You can see R world for games. Lot of games has come now. This will be downloaded directly on your phone memory. The charges are from 49 to 99 depending on various games. Once you will download, you don't hv to pay any more charges to play or so unless u delete it and reinstall it again regards Niranjan

HI I have LG RD6230 . I have version of 13. Now i want to upgrade it to 17. but the problem is I have downloaded many games on R menu. And LG service centre person told me that all this will deleted. Now can please anyone tell me how can i upgrade the version without deleting any game as you know all are costing to us and if delted, we have to install it by paying charges twicely regards Niranjan

call customer care centre & tell them u have changed ur handset & make mms available. I have purchaed new lg 6230. I was also getting same msg. But after 2-3 times of calling, they start mms on web also Even after 1 month of purchase I am getting same message.

I have purchased lg rd6230. when i did one video recording for testing, i come to know that it is making mjp format. I think other formats are not running on this phone if we upload. Can anyone tell me if any software is there to convert movie files to mjp format ? <TOPIC MERGED!>

MP3 player in 6230 is very fine. Sound quality is also very good. But only negative point is that when we are listening to MP3 player & if any call of sms comes, it disconnects mp3 player & can not start again in continuity. Hello I have capture 1 small movie from 6230. It is saving in MJPEG format. I want to know whether mpeg & mjpeg both formats are same or different? Can we run some other type of format also on 6230? If not then any software which we can get freely that can convert video files in mjpeg format? I don't know if any other type of audio format apart from MP3 we can run on this handset. Anyone has idea for the same? I tried to download some ringtones from computer to phone through SD card but its not installed. I want to know what kind of formats will run on this handset? if so, any software for the same? (including animated ringtones?) if anyone has idea, please tell me

From some search, i come to know that audio/video streaming is not available on brew platform. So we will not get any news channels or songs from R world? Can anyone tell, whether its working on brew or not ?

Friends I have purchased LG RD6230 on tuesday !!! Its workling really good. I am searching for minisd card & data cable for installation of MP3 songs as it is very costlier in web worlds & reliance agents. Well, I have never found any battery & signal problem till now. Also I have used camera. The picture quality is very fine. the torch facility is also very useful as in our city power is going for 5 hours. The minus part is that, we can not store full MP3 songs in internal memory. R world is not fully in operation. However while speaking with one customer representative, he told they are installing all applications slowly on BREW platform. & that is true as i am getting some more applications of R world. I can not dowload any ringtones from sites i.e. indiatimes or rediff as of now. The customer care representative told, it is not enable right now but i can do it in some time. However, long sms is more beneficial. Phone book is also good with 2000 entries. If you can buy hands free with FM (if available for this model), you can have FM also. So overall, I think this model is good
