I got the sw version updated at LG service and the prob was solved. Cleaning solved the hard press prob. Bye.

Yes that happens even on my LG 2430 also quite frequently although I couldnt associate it with anything in particular-maybe u r rt bout hold. Also the Menu Select button has become insensitive , has to be really pressed hard. Any remedies anyone? bye. Phantom
