  3. After sending so many emails, posting on social networks like facebook and twitters many times, finally I got the refund from Letsbuy.com today.
  4. 32GB Micro SD Card from HS18. Called up the HS18 vender (Suman Enterprises) to return the card and to ask how much time it will take to ship Samsung Class 10, 32 GB card. The lady asked me to send the card back and they will refund the money. She said that Samsung people are not willing to provide the card (Class 10, 32GB) for the money I have paid. If I don't want to use Sandisk Class 4, refund is the ONLY option. She was more interested in getting the card back, may be they want to sell even this Sandisk Class 4 card at the higher price because when I asked her that if I plan to keep this card, can you send me the bill and she said that please return the card, we will refund your money. So, now is Sandisk Class 4, 32GB Micro SD card @1925/- worth keeping? It is without bill, but someone told me that the packing/serial number is sufficient to avail warranty from Rashi (it is Rashi import of Oct'2011).
  5. So? How is it relevant here? Just to show off that I have made a better purchase, or I am more intelligent or I have bigger car, I have a bigger house. I had bought this MicroSD before Hetal bhai put it for sale, and it is not a deal for everyone, it is an individual sale. Thanks. So guys, what is the opinion of you all? Should I go for a change ot settle with Sandisk Class 4 card ? I bought this And Lexar speed is amazing I dont know it might be random but both of MMC bought from Hetalji have a rocking read n writing speed.. I transferred al 32 gb movies within minutes and also put all my 7-8gb songs also in a very few minutes compared to my 32gb class 2 cards

Pundit will charge me more than these websites by suggesting rings, stones, hawans and what not) Thanks for your suggestions about screenshot, I have saved screenshot and printed a PDF of the webpage. I have already registered a ticket on HS18 website. Not willing to take it further than this because do not have enough courage to fight these websites. OT: Settled with indiaplaza (got the return shipping charges), yet to get refund of Rs.6,068/- from Letsbuy.com.
  12. Got it. Homeshop18 have sent a Sandisk (not Samsung) 32GB Class 4 (not Class 10) Micro SD card. No bill. Also a Quantum memory card reader. My online buying experience was great for last couple of years but now 2-3 bad experiences...and I am thinking that quality is going way too down with increased number of customers with these websites. BTW, this was my first experience with homeshop18.

    Thanks Rajan for your efforts. I tried what you suggested. One Could not get the method to put a comma in the dialer. Two Does not work Three Does not work Four There is no Mobile Tracker option in Photon.
  17. Problems with Letsbuy.com October 14, 2011 I bought a P&S Camera for a friend who is not comfortable with online buying. After making the payment, I got a message that this page can't be loaded (server error). But my card was charged. I got an SMS and an email from Citibank that "Rs.6,068.00 was spent on your Credit Card 4564XXXXXXXX0005 on 14-OCT-11 at LETSBUY.COM." Sent an email to Letsbuy.com but did not get any reply. October 15, 2011 I called up customer care and customer care executive told me that Letsbuy.com has not received the payment and if I got a message from Citibank that my card has been charged, the payment will be credited back to Citibank credit card. The executive suggested me to go ahead with a fresh order. He, in fact , released "hsbclb1" code for fresh use as we know one discount coupon works only once with one id. So, I placed another order for the same camera and paid for it. October 17-19, 2011 I was shocked to receive 2 packets from Letsbuy.com. I confirmed with Citibank that I have been charged twice. Tried to call customer care but could not because their lines were constantly busy. October 20, 2011 Sent them an email about this and requested them to get one sealed packet pick up and refund my money as soon as possible. Got a reply from Letsbuy.com with apologies and that they have arranged for pick-up with Fedex. Replied that pick-up is ready with the address and invoice they have provided. October 21, 2011 Fedex picked up the packet. Emailed letsbuy.com about the pick-up and provided them pictures and tracking details. October 22, 2011 Packet delivered to Letsbuy.com October 27, 2011 Sent them an email requesting acknowledgement and refund. October 29, 2011 Got an email from Letsbuy.com that they have initiated the refund and it will reflect in my credit card account in 7-10 days. November 3, 2011 Sent them an email that the funds are not reflecting in credit card account. November 5, 2011 Got an email from Letsbuy.com: “First and foremost we regret the delay in the refund of your payment; however your submitted case is constantly being followed up and please be assured that the Payment Processor would be forwarding you the refund on priority. Further we have again forwarded the refund issue to payment processor to expediting the process.” November 9, 2011 Sent them an email that the funds are not reflecting in credit card account. Letsbuy.com does not respond anymore. I would like to highlight that a similar refund was initiated from another online selling website on 10th November and appeared in credit card account on 12th November. So, it takes just 2 days after they have actually initiated the refund. Any suggestions guys ?

    No need to say sorry buddy. I knew it must have worked in CDMA, that's why you recommended. And in my post also I specifically mentioned about SMS delivery report problem in GSM.

    Nice reviews. Adding a few to pro and cons which you can add to your posts. Pros: This is the first Android I have used which is a breeze to sync with Outlook. I have used 3-4 variants of Samsung Galaxy S, Dell XCD-35 and few others. In all other mobiles, you have to go through import/export process. When you connect this phone to your PC, it installs "MOTOROLA MEDIA LINK" from its own storage (and updates from net) and gives option to Sync with Outlook besides media syncing options). Cons: It does not give SMS delivery report (in GSM at least, have no CDMA). I have tried installing few SMS application as suggested bt forum members like "GO SMS Pro" but result is still the same.

    Mine works with + code dialing (for example +9198100xxxxxx). All my contacts are saved with +91 prefix and it dials them without a problem. I am on Android 2.3.4.
  25. Hi guys, If you planning to buy a STB with recording facility, please buy it now else you will not be able to buy it for many months. Because of floods in Thailand and the hard disk shortage because of it, there is a tough time coming for DTH companies. Take example of Tata Sky HD+ (since I own it, know more about it), people are buying STBs at 4k, opening it and taking it out (a WD Green 500GB) which is retailing at 4.5k these days. Also, if the 500GB will cost 4.5k, how can Tata Sky sell the STBs at 4k, surely either short supply or price increase. Think about it guys.
