I was also getting the same message. I found the solution, insert your sim to a more knows (Nokia, Samsung) 3G Phone. Activate 3G and put it back in your wildfire. Worked for me by putting my Sim in Blackberry 9700. Most of the new gen phones are not in Vodafone's database.

To my understanding, you can activate this plans on your normal SIM also.

Mine was installed today and it is very good. BTW, I already have Sun HD and Tata Sky HD. It is 305 x 60 x 249 mm (W x H x D). They don't take it back. You can either use it for your other room. Or can get it de-activated. But no one else other than you can use it as per their latest policy dated 31.12.2010, they have stopped transferring ownership of STB.

Life is in fact that easy with Blackberry and Nokia. No need of CSV, Excel, Import, Export. Just install Blackberry Desktop Manager and Nokia PC Suite. Sync Blackberry with outlook (Desktop Manager) and then Sync Nokia with outlook (PC Suite). I have been doing it for last one year. I need to update 2 of my phones (Blackberry 9700 and Nokia) with same contacts.
