yes default connection is r world. to confirm, go to start settigs, connections, connections, and see which two you see, it should be r world and my network connection. also if you have not put in your userid and pass anywhere you are not likely to be using r connect. I did not try this ROM and since you guys found problems i will wait till hetal fixes it.

I think we can make a sticky of tutorials for 6700. All the people have some doubt or the other, and most of us find the solutions with or without help from others. If we could put together all the posts that have solutions to the problems I think it would be quite handy. Searching through so many threads is difficult. Ashok/ Arun can we have a new thread with posts moved from various threads please?

I had used wifi on the original ROM given by Sadik Havent tried it after I moved to Hetals ROM. But it sure did work fine on Kirvins. Just go to wireless manager switch on the wifi and check the wifi settings. I dont exactly remember if and what changes I made but it did work then.

google now has good road maps for many indian cities.of course live traffic situation would require gps. i often use google maps it comes in handy.thanks for the info about recievers.

I use spybot s&D and Its good. Have used lavasoft in the past.

yeah you will need a GPS reciever device, which can cost around 1500-2000. Software of course can be cracked but you will need a reciever anyways

must have made some error. I was one of the first people here to try out hpsms server and I am sure i would be knowing far less about computers than you.It worked perfectly for me. I dont see why you should have faced any problem. I did not use it much since I shifted to linux. Now since I am forced to use windows because of PPC, I might use it a little more.

downgraded to kirvin 3.5 AKU posted by basant jp somewhere in this forum. The alignment problem is solved but so many features are gone. compromise. Did anyone else get that alignment problem?

I did the alignment while setting it up. Re flashing did not work either. NOw i am stuck.

the problem is that i can not get past the align screen. will flashing again work? should I downgrade to another ROM version?

does not work. hard reset, during setup it asks to align screen which does not, so I am stuck. will have to flash again i think
