I am planning to buy an MP3 player, a portable one (compact) if possible, to be used with speaker system. I have absolutely no idea about the variety in the market. I am not too keen on spending much and can settle for T series as well. I need advices and experiences from people who have bought any of these. Also I would like to know whether any of these come with speaker systems or do we have to buy them separate. Of course I would search the thread for 3.1 and 5.1 speaker systems but suggestions in this thread are also welcome.

yeah I need that DVD/VCD player kind of thins which plays only music if such a thing is available in market. Is it? Will a VCD/DVD player play MP3s also?

and can we make shortcyts for say folders which are not in the system drive? I mean say I have a folder in D drive that I use often, can I create a keyboard shortcut? It seems to work only is the shortcut made is kept on the desktop. Is that the only way it will work?

When I convert a video file say avi to dvd format it takes up a lot of space, I know DVD formats are bigger but this is quite disproportionate. Like say a 1gb movie occupies something like 7-8GB? What is amiss here? How do we have DVD discs that have three or more movies on a single DVD disc in the DVD video format?

I watched this movie a day before its release ie 25th of Jn at a special show at INOX Goa It was a wonderful movie. Such movies come after a long time dont they!
