Well just follow the following steps : 1.Goto Menu>Organiser>Calender>Select the date for which you want to be reminded>Press Options>Make a Note>Reminder>Type your Note>Alarm On>Select the time. You will be reminded by an alarm and the Note will be flashed on your display at the particular time. @Zappu Even I saw the Nokia 6265 advertisement on Tv today and its pretty good but I feel its similar to the Nokia 6255 Ad but obviously with modifications but overall its Ok.Even in the Ad only one colour is displayed so I dont think any other colour handset will be launched.But Maybe after few months you might get the body of this handset in different colours as you get it of Nokia 6255 handset now in the grey market.

Well I have not come across any such software as yet.And I dont think you will get this software so easily on the Net and even If you get this software on the Net it will surely be expensive.I was using the Panasonic GD90 handset about 3-4 yrs back and in that handset there was a option to record call conversations(voice) but I dont think any of the Nokia handsets have it.

Well yes now as WAP is not working so the battery is working more than before but even when the WAP was working,the battery of my Nokia 6265 handset had started performing better so I think even when WAP starts again,my battery should give a good talktime and standby time. Well even I think Reliance wont start the WAP service again soon.I think it will take another month or maybe more. If they start it early then well and good.But I see no reason why Reliance will offer this service free of cost or include it in R-world membership.I think Reliance will charge another Rs 25/month for WAP access.And I am sure many of us including me will have no problems in paying Rs 25/month and enjoy WAP.Now actually the problem is that we have already used WAP for about 15-20 days and we really enjoyed it and now Reliance has stopped it so after experiencing it practically,now we want it more and Reliance is taking the advantage of it. I feel its no use contacting Reliance Cust care for it.Because we all know how useless they are.Some Rel CC executives dont even know what is WAP. We all should atleast send 1 mail/day to the chairmans office regarding this.Even if 10 of us continue to send a mail to the chairmans office for about a week then I think it should have some impact and hopefully WAP starts again.But I checked on the Reliance website,there is no option to mail the chairmans office, I think its removed because everyone must be mailing there only so does anyone know whats the Mail id to mail the chairmans office.Please share it with all of us so that we can do something about it. Well even my Nokia 6265 battery has started performing better than before. I have experienced much better talktime and standby time since the last 3-4 days.I dont know whats the exact reason for it but I am happy with the battery now.

How do you know that the RSN number has been blocked ? Did you visit the service centre regarding this issue ? Which handset model is it ?

Mehtakushal Since the last 3-4 days even I am not being able to use WAP because Reliance has stopped it from their server.There is no settings for this and it will start only when Reliance starts it from their end. The method to Rw and Ff is mentioned below : 1.Menu>Media>Media Player>FF/Rew Interval>Set the number of seconds you want. 2.Goto Music Player,play the song you want and if you want to rewind then press the << key for 3-4 secs and it will rewind to the number of secs you have set. 3.Goto Music Player,play the song you want and if you want to forward then press >> key for 3-4 secs and it will forward to the number of secs you have set. I dont think there is any permanent solution for this.But you try and switch off the Auto time/date update which reduces service area popping up.This problem is there in almost all Reliance handsets like Lg 2030 ,Nokia 6235 etc.

Since almost 8-10 months now,I have been just getting 1 reply from the Reliance Cust Care(*333) that " Our systems are under upgradation,please call later". If I call for activation/deactivation of services or billing details this is the only reply I get from CC.They ask me to call after 2-4 hrs and then again I get the same reply.Sometimes when I am lucky their systems are working fine but atleast 90% times,their systems are under upgradation.I really donot know when will Reliance finish their upgradation I mean its the only source(*333) for the customers for immediate help but that is of no use.I cannot understand where do the customers contact for immediate help.This problem was there earlier also but in the last 6-8 months it has become worse.They should upgrade their systems from 12am-6am when very few customers call but their systems are upgrading all 24 hrs and for almost all days.I had even written a mail regarding this to the Chairmans office but no use.I have about 14 Reliance connections and for all of them I face this problem.I am sure that I am not the only person facing this problem and there are many Rimweb users also who face this problem.Share your experience in this issue here.

Well the Systems are actually under upgradation and its not the fault of the Reliance Cc.As the systems are always down or under upgradation they are unable to view the customer details and hence they give the same answer.As you mentioned that they donot understand or they cannot help the customer and hence they give this reply,I disagree.Because I have mentioned that I even when I call for activation/deactivation of any services they give the same answer and in this case they donot need to understand anything.So its completely the fault of the technical team of Reliance.Because of which even the Webworlds sometimes face this problem.I cannot understand what causes this problem

Well I have used the Nokia 6265 handset for more than 2 weeks now and luckily as yet I have not yet faced any problems.I would advice my friends not to change any settings under the service menu of the handset,they may cause problems.I can only suggest you to try and delete all files from your handset maybe that might resolve your problem.There maybe some software,game or application that you may have downloaded which might have caused this.In future also download all files on the memory card and try to keep the phone memory empty.I donot know what the exact problem is and what is the reason for it but try following the above mentioned suggesstions and hopefully it may solve the problem. Well I think you have not searched the forum for your answers.All the answers are mentioned in the forum.You can download the Opera Mini software and access almost all websites.Like Rediff,Yahoo. You can also surf with the inbulit Mini browser but the experience is better in the Opera Mini browser.

The Vidoes donot Rw or FF. Its only for songs(Music Player).

I have already posted the steps on Page 4,post number 48 under this topic only.Anyways I am listing the steps again : 1.Activate R-Connect on your number(It should be already activated). 2.Connect the handset and the laptop via Bluetooth. 3.Goto Control Panel>Printer and Other hardware>Phone n Modem options>Click on Modem tab>Click on the Bluetooth modem(Bluetooth DUN modem mostly)>Click on Properties>Advanced>In Extra Commands type at+crm=1;+cso=33. 4.Click on the Bluetooth Dial up Networking service which will be there in your Bluetooth software.Enter your username and password(Your mobile number without 0) and the Dialling number #777. 5.Thats it,I think you should get connected after you follow these steps.

Well I would surely recommend the 1 Gb NCP Mini SD card.You should get it between Rs 1000-Rs 1200.It depends how you bargin.I have been using NCP cards since a long time and never faced any problems with it.I have not used any other company so I cannot comment on them.

@schumi, 1. My RUIM has only 150 names capacity, how come yours has 250 names. Are you sure? If yes, then what should I do to get 100 more names capacity? what is the SMS count on the RUIM if your names storage capacity is 250? Is it 20 or more? When I check the memory status of the UIM card it shows 250 free and 0 in use.So atleast in my UIM card I can store 250 names with 1 number per name.I donot know about the exact number of SMS because I have not yet saved so many sms. Well if you are new to transferring phonebook then you will find it confusing but still I am posting some steps : 1.Using the data cable sync your LG 2030 phonebook with your PC in Microsoft outlook. 2.Connect your Nokia 6265 using cable or bluetooth and via Nokia sync just sync your phonebook from the Microsoft outlook to your Nokia 6265 handset. I know it sounds easy but if you are new to this then you will have to put your brains to it. You can upload your phonebook from the Lg 2030 handset in R-world but there is no option in the Nokia 6265 handset to download it.So the only method you have is to sync it.

Well there is a difference in understanding.You can store 500 names in the Nokia 6265 handset and 250 names in the UIM card.So total you can store 500 + 250 =750. @Schaumi Are you sure that we can store upto 750 entries in address book?? Am talking about fully qualified entried. It means if i store two number for same name it shall not reduce the entry for me. One more thing to ask is for SMS numbers. How many sms can be stored in device?? Is it possible to store sms on Memory Card?? Plz try to figure out max number of sms... As far as battery is concerned its ok. If this device gives real nice features then battery can be replaced in front of features. Thanks On the handset you can store 500 names with 5 numbers per entry and email id.But on the UIM card you can only store 250 names with only 1 number per entry and nothing else.So overall you can store 500 x 5 =2500(handset) + 250(UIM) = 2750.But obviously practically you never store 5 numbers for all 500 entries. Regarding the SMS,I really donot know the total number of SMS that can be stored but looking at the internal memory(24 MB),I guess it should be about 100.And you cannot save or transfer the SMS on the Memory card.Well I think its a worth buy with Reliance tariffs and services.

Is there any option of Auto complete or Auto fill when surfing via Opera Mini software.Actually I have to enter my username everytime I log in into my Rediffmail account.So is there any option of selecting Auto complete or Auto fill. This option is there in Mini browser but I didnot find it in Opera Mini browser.

I dont think its possible. dear i have tried it with nokia N70 and nokia 6280 and its working fine! i have tried in same pc sute and it was working fine. But not for 6265. Thats what I said ! Its not possible in Nokia 6265 handset.

Well I dont know the exact method to recharge batteries but I have enough experience to comment on it.I really dont feel you have to be so particular in recharging the battery.You dont need to forward the calls to some other phone while your handset is being charged.Also if you use your handset sometimes while its charging,it doesnot make a big difference.You dont need to switch off your handset while charging it.Well its simple just put your handset(switched on) for charging for about 4hrs and I think you cannot do anything more for a better battery life.Its advisable not to charge your handset for over 5hrs continously because it causes the life of the battery to reduce and not the stand by time.After your first buy,its advisable to charge it for 12 hrs for 3-5 times.I feel using R-world and WAP does really cause the battery to drain down fast.So try and utilise the data transfer services less.The only other option is buy a 2nd battery as a stand by.
