Yes it deos have Wap ! But it doesnot support R-surf in Rworld.The picture quality is Good not exceptional.As I have put a 1Gb card,Video recording is possible for over 2 hrs.Please give me atleast 1 day to Use the handset then I can provide a perfect and complete review on the Nokia 6265 handset.

No its not available easily ! Nokia is playing a very smart game.It is telling the dealers to buy 4-5 sets of Nokia 2112 or Nokia 2255 which have no demand and then only they are giving 1 set of the Nokia 6265 handset.Hence dealers are not ready to put money in this handset.Its really stupidity of the company.I think it was still take time for it to be available easily with Nokia dealers or Webworlds.But keep trying you might get it somewhere.Only Silver handset is available.But it really looks Good.Well,I will post my complete review within 24-48 hrs.

Well,I am not replying because the same discussion is going on about price and availability.Everyone has different views on price as well as availability of the Nokia 6265 handset.As Reliance has mentioned the price will be Rs 15500-16200 then why are we worried.Reliance webworlds will sell the Nokia 6265 handset not more than Rs 16200,because they cant have their own profit margins but yes the Webworld express will increase the rates further for their own profit.Even the Nokia dealers will sell the handset at a higher price than the Mrp initially.Regarding availability again nothing sure,maybe it will be available in 2-3 days or even as late as 8-10days.Well,even I have not got this handset as yet because its not available anywhere.I am also in continous contact with my Nokia dealer but he is also not sure about the availability of this handset.Now I am only concerned about the colour of the handset.Fevin has posted the picture of the Nokia 6265 handset which is whitish silver colour,and someone has posted a brochure of Nokia 6265 in which 2 colours are listed of which one colour is whitish silver(same as Fevin's picture),and another colour is black but it differs fom the pictures listed on the Nokia and Reliance website(which is also black).I have attached 3 pictures(1.Nokia website,2.Posted by Fevin,3.Brochure) ,carefully see them all and you will see the difference between the two pictures posted inthe Nokia website and the Brochure which are black colour.I want the Nokia 6265 handset in black colour but God knows when I will get it

From which Webworld did your friend buy the Nokia 6265 handset ? Can you ask your friend whether the handset supports R-surf application in R-world or not ? Also can you ask what is the Video clip duration in the Nokia 6265 handset with the 64Mb Mini sd card ? And how come he got the handset in white colour when it is by default in black on the Nokia and Reliance website ? You can see the difference in both the pictures attached above.Kindly answer to all the above mentioned questions !

The Nokia 6255 handset was priced at Rs 13500 in Mumbai and the Nokia 6265 handset is priced at Rs 16000 so by paying Rs 2500 more,you get a handset which has much Better and trendy looks + 2Mp camera + Mp3 Player supports 500 songs + 24Mb memory.Even the GSM models Nokia 6270 and Nokia 6280 are very similar to the Nokia 6265 and are priced around Rs 15-16K.So I dont think that the Nokia 6265 handset is over priced. Offcourse we get Series 60 GSM models in this range but again you dont get the Service and Tariff plans offered by Reliance but I dont want to get into Tariff comparisions. Regarding the Video recording duration in the Nokia 6265,I have gone through the User guide of this handset and there is a option of changing the location of Storage of Images+Videos to the Memory card,so more pictures and Videos can be stored and maybe the Video recording duration also increases with this,but that we will come to know for sure only after we get the handset.In the Nokia 6255 handset also there was a option to change the Storage location to the Memory card but only for Images and not for Videos so thats another difference between the 2 handsets. Regarding R-surf or Wap,I donot know whether these features are there in the Nokia 6265 handset or not.If this handset has these features well and good but If these features are not supported by the Nokia 6265 handset then I dont feel it makes much of a difference because there are loads of other features in the handset to overcome this 1 option.I know many people are very dependant on R-surf and Wap but then maybe its their bad luck. This week is over so now we hope to get the Nokia 6265 handset next week.Its been a long..long wait and still it is not getting over. In Nokia 6255 handset when you goto Menu>Camera>Options>Settings>Image storage>default folder or other folder.Here you can only change the Storage folder of Images to some other folder including Memory card but there is no option to change the default Video Storage folder to Memory card.You have to practically transfer the Videos from the "VIDEOS" folder to the Memory card.Hence the Video recording duration is restricted to 3mins.Where as In Nokia 6265 handset there is a option to change the default Image and Video storage folder to any other folder including Memory card.The path is goto Menu>Camera>Options>Settings>Image and Video storage>default folder or other folder.This option is also available in the Nokia 6235 handset but unfortumately it doesnot support Memory card.In the Nokia 6265 handset also the Video duration is 3 mins by default but maybe by using the above option and selecting Memory card as the default folder,the Video duration may increase from 3 mins to

I feel with the Nokia 6265 handset getting a 64Mb Card is of no use.Because with this handset only a 512MB or 1GB card is suited.This handset has Mp3 player,Photos+Videos capture so you need large memory to make full use of this handset.The Mp3 player of this handset supports 500 songs which is great ! But offcourse it depends upon the memory available.So I think most of the users will go in for a 512Mb or 1Gb card with this handset.

I have just had a 10 minute talk with Reliance Cust care on *333 regarding the Nokia 6265 handset.Today,finally they got the information about the Nokia 6265 handset.As mentioned above the price range is between Rs 15500 to Rs 16200.They told me that this handset has R-world and R-connect.It also has Video-Recording upto 3 mins.I also inquired about the RUIM facility in this handset and they told me that the Nokia 6265 is RUIM enabled handset but he assured me that all existing users will be able to transfer their exisiting Reliance number on it with HCC without any difficulties.They also mentioned that this handset should available in the Webworlds in a couple of days.Atleast now we can be a bit relieved because now we have come to know most of the facts of the Nokia 6265 handset.Well,I know its stupidity to trust the Reliance cust care but this time I hope they are right !

Many members have mentioned above that the Nokia 6265 handset is mostly RUIM enabled.So now I want to know If the Nokia 6265 handset is RUIM enabled then can we transfer our existing Reliance number on it or no Or Is this handset then ment only for New Customers :'(

Well, I am also in continous contact with my dealer about the launch of Nokia 6265 handset.He informed me that the launch has been further delayed by another 4-5 days due to some technical reason. Even he doesnot know exactly what is the reason for the delay.But now,its expected mostly next week only.The price is expected between Rs 16-17K.So as we have been doing since months,Just wait..wait and wait.

Nokia distributor has not yet given the handsets to the Nokia dealers in Mumbai.It should be available anytime,maybe another 2-3 days.I think Reliance is offcially launching the handset in 3-4 days so only after that it will be available in the Reliance WW.But I think it should be available with the Nokia dealers by the end of this week.If anyone gets any further information please let us all know.

On the Reliance website,the Nokia 6265 handset is listed under Camera handsets category and not VideoCamera handsets category so I think Reliance has disabled the Videorecording feature of this handset or else it would have listed it under Videocamera handsets.If Reliance has actually done this then I think it is the most shameless service provider.I mean just for small amount of money it can fall to this level.Its really stupid and frustrating. I dont think Reliance would have disabled R-world and R-Connect in this handset because it is the source of income for the company.But I really hope I am wrong but you can expect Reliance todo anything for money.

Well I dont think anyone has got the handset today because the Nokia distributor has not yet provided the handsets to the Nokia dealers.It is expected to be available by tomorrow evening or mostly by Wednesday.If anyone gets the handset please share your experience with us.

On the Reliance website under the category of Video Camera handset only 5 handsets are listed and when you see the features of all these 5 handsets,it is clearly mentioned about Video Recorder.But as the Nokia 6265 handset is listed under Camera handsets and when you see the features of this handset,No where there is mentioned about Video recording. So now I feel that Reliance has disabled the Videocamera feature of this handset. I hope I am wrong but I am afraid that I might be true also.Also nothing is mentioned about R-World and R-connect under the Nokia 6265 features.So maybe it deosnot support both R-World and R-Connect.If it deosnot support all these 3 features then I dont think its worth its price.I spoke to a Reliance executive and he informed me that Reliance would price the handset for about Rs 14-15K and should be available at the Reliance WW within 3-4 days.

Yes the Nokia 6265 handset is available on the Reliance website.But strangely it is put under the category of Camera handsets and not Video Camera handsets.I hope Reliance has not disabled the Video camera feature of this handset. I had a LG 5340 handset with a RIM postpaid connection on it(DAPO).Now the handset is lost.When I call the number no one answers.I am sure someone has it.So is there anyway I can trace the phone or maybe lock the handset.Can anyone help me out what to do.

I can't understand why this gentleman Schumi is not providing name of the dealer? or he is just part of reliance conspiracy of fooling people? Other thing. Why 6265 only? purchasing any reliance phone is accepting slavery of Reliance. It cannot be used for other companies. You have to throw it away if u wanna to change the service provider or shift to GSM otherwise pay these reliance fools the ransom every month! There are better GSM phones with much choice of service providers . To invest more than 16000 Rs with Reliance Thugs is foolishness................ Well If I would be a Reliance Info member then I would have surely launched the Nokia 6265 handset many months earlier and by today I would have owned 1 atleast. As I have mentioned earlier that I donot have direct contact with the Nokia dealer because one of my very close friends is involved in the deal.My friend is also a Mobile dealer.So I donot know the Nokia dealers name.But I have spoken to 3-4 Nokia dealers in Mumbai about the availability of the handset and all have told me in the next 4-5 days surely.The location of the Nokia dealers who I spoke to are Heera Panna+Worli+Sion.They are authoried Nokia dealers.I think that satisfies your need. Well there are GSM handsets available in the market but what about the tariff plans compared to Reliance.Well I donot want to start a discussion on tariff plans but just answered to your question.Well many people have purchased the Nokia 6255 which costs Rs 13000 in Mumbai and now spending Rs 2-3K more for Nokia 6265 handset is not a big deal.Anyways you have to decide If you want the Nokia 6265 handset or no.

Well I was facing the same problem since the past 20 days almost.I had to completely format my Computer and the problem of those messages have been solved.But now I have completely turned off automatic updates.But when this problem was there I had no problems in restarting my computer.I dont think you should also have any problems.But please do anything on your responsibility.

Well its no use contacting the Nokia helpline because they are similar to the Reliance cust care foolish Please wait for the next 4-5 days and you will get the reply

Well after so many months finally the long wait is over.The Nokia 6265 cdma handset is finally launching next week by Nokia.Several Rimweb members have confirmed this by their different sources.But until any of us doesnot get the handset in our hands it will still be difficult to believe.But I can say now mostly 99% its coming next week.
