See I have told clearly several times that you can contact any Nokia dealer in Mumbai and book it.I have booked my handset at a Nokia dealer via a friend.And I donot want to take any responsibility of others booking via me.So its better you book it at any Nokia auth dealer.If you dont want to take the risk then please wait for 1 week and you will get the response by then.Even I will inform you,If I get the handset.So like others are doing its better if you wait and watch.

I have booked the Nokia 6265 handset at a Nokia dealer in Mumbai.I have paid him the deposit and he informed me that he will give me the handset anytime next week,maybe as soon as Monday also.He informed me that this is the first lot coming out so there are heavy bookings for it and you will not get the handset unless you book it.You can visit any Nokia dealer in Mumbai and book your handset.But please book your handset on your own responsibility and donot blame me If anything wrong happens.Because I have also booked the handset on my personal responsibility.If you donot want to take the risk then I suggest you to wait for 1 week and see what happens.I want the handset desperately hence I have booked it,now lets see what happens.

Well,I donot know about other places in India but in Mumbai it will be available from next week at Nokia shops.I have told that Nokia dealers will provide this handset next week.I donot know when will Reliance officially launch the handset.I have spoken to 4-5 Nokia dealers in MUMBAI and all are saying Nokia 6265 will be available next week for sure.I have booked my handset so lets see when I get the handset.I will surely keep you'll informed.

Well Good News for all the members.The Nokia 6265 handset is launching next week confirmed. The bookings have also started.I have even booked my handset and the dealer has told me that he might give me the handset as early as Monday also.The cost is around 16-17K.Go to the Nokia dealers and book your handsets at the earliest.

Hope so ! But its impossible to trust Nokia dist.They have been giving dates since May,2006.

Well,its no use mailing the Chairmans office regarding the Nokia 6265 handset.Because until the handset is launched they will not provide you any information on the handset and its expected date of launch.You will never get any official statement regarding the launch of the Nokia 6265 from Nokia or Reliance. Its only unofficially you have to find out when is the handset going to be launched I know its difficult but thats life.

It is not the fault of the Cell companies.It was the govt that had instructed the Cell companies to jam their networks for security reasons.I know they are not accepting it now,but thats the truth. Atleast Reliance Info is very well equipped to handle such situations.Even on 26/7,Only Reliance mobiles were working across Mumbai.And after 26/7 they have upgraded further to face such situations.

Well,I have really suffered due to jam telephones and mobile lines.I have all Reliance phones and mobiles at my offices in Mumbai,Maharashtra and Gujarat.But after 7 pm,all my Reliance mobiles and FWP's stoped working.I even tried calling from my friends GSM phone but that was also not working.Even the MTNL lines had stopped working.My Reliance mobiles and FWP started at about 11pm.When it mattered the most that was between 7pm and 11 pm,the Phones and Mobiles were not working.I have about 5 Reliance FWP and about 8 Reliance mobiles all across Mumbai and suffered due to jammed connections. But I really hope all my brothers and sisters across the city are in good health and recover soon.

I have a desktop and laptop.At home I have installed a wireless router because of which I can use the Hathway internet on the laptop wirelessly anywhere in the house with Wifi.Now I want to use wireless internet on my laptop in the entire city(Mumbai).Is this possible ? Is there any broadbrand operator allowing wireless connectivity across Mumbai.Or are there any settings to do the same.Because when I search for wireless networks on my Laptop using Wifi,I always get a network name Netgear.I dont know what is.Can anyone help me out.

Well the Nokia 6265 will surely be launched but after how long thats the question I know as yet Reliance and Nokia have no comments on the Nokia 6265 launch but there are people from Reliance and Nokia giving their own expected dates of launch which have all come incorrect till now. We all are really irritated and frustrated by the delay in the launch of the Nokia 6265 handset and now ending this topic will be more heart breaking. There have been more than 500 posts in this topic in a very short time which shows the response for the Nokia 6265 even before the launch of the handset. The handsets mentioned above like the Nokia 6275 are good in features but surely the Nokia 6265 has better looks and it looks more trendy as its the first slider CDMA phone. So lets continue our hope for the Nokia 6265 launch.I think it will take maximum more 50 days for the launch of the Nokia 6265 handset.This is my guess so it maybe be incorrect also.

I just spoke to the Tata postpaid and the Tata prepaid dept in Mumbai but both the depts donot have any information on the Moto Razr or the Motorola World phone.Maybe its yet to be officially launched.But its not available in the grey market also as yet.

Thats good news for Tata customers ! But If Tata has priced the Moto razr at Rs 14 K then surely Reliance will price it atleast 1-2 K more than it.That means about Rs 16K with Reliance If it ever launches it.But hope Reliance also learns something from Tata now and launch some good handsets soon.Regarding the Nokia 6265,there is no news about it with Reliance WW or Nokia as yet.I dont know where has the handset gone

Well,I have a strong feeling that the Nokia 6265 handset will be launched in July,2006 only.Because one friend of mine who was working in Reliance Info had told me this in April and now he is no more with Reliance Info.Even a Reliance webworld executive had told me that the Nokia 6265 will be launched in July,2006.I know its no use to rely on the Webworld people but I still feel the handset will be launched this month only.So lets hope it launches soon.

Whether you are quitting Reliance or not but Reliance is quitting CDMA! Why do you think Reliance is talking about moving to GSM? That is what I am saying ! That its better we quit Reliance now and then join Reliance again after it starts GSM services.Because gradually Reliance will shift entirely to GSM.Till then we can use some other GSM provider with plenty of high end handsets to choose from.Because you never know when will Reliance start its GSM services.

Well,after Nokia exits the CDMA segment,major responsibility of Reliance cdma handsets will be on LG,Samsung.They will start manufacturing high end handsets like the Nokia 6265 or even better to take the major portion of the CDMA market. Samsung has already launched the Samsung Wideo which has good features but less than the Nokia 6265 handset.Hence after they launch better handsets than the Nokia 6265 after 8-10 months the demand for the Nokia 6265 will decrease because of better handsets of LG,Samsung available in the market and secondly people will prefer not to purchase the Nokia 6265 handset because by then it will be a old handset. Regarding Reliance having highest coverage which is not true.Reliance has good coverage only in cities but not in towns and highways.Reliance has the worst coverage on highways specially in Maharashtra. And after Reliance starts GSM many customers will shift from CDMA to GSM because of high choice of handsets and freedom to change the handset easily.And I think Reliance will gradually shift from CDMA to GSM.Well its a never ending discussion so lets wait for the Nokia 6265 handset.Will it ever be launched

From where did you download the Nokia Diego software Does it work only with Nokia 6255 handset or even with Nokia 6235 handset

Well,This handset has been launched in other countries.Nokia will never launch the handset first in India and then in other countries.Its available in Hongkong,Canada etc.

I have personally found out in the grey markets in Mumbai about the Nokia 6265 handset and the only reply was "We dont know when it will launch".Even the Reliance webworlds donot know about it. Now I feel it will launch not before Mid-July,2006. This is just my guess so I dont have any confirmation on this. But hope it launches at the earliest.

Yes it is possible to load the Reliance settings in a Tata handset.You have to change the SID,NAM settings in the handset. Even I am not aware how to do it. But let me inform you that I know one person who uses Reliance+Tata+Garuda number on 1 handset only. He has done the settings for all the 3 operators and hence uses 3 numbers on one handset.I know it sounds impossible but I have practically seen it. Obviously I have tried to convince him to tell me how he did it but he didnt tell me even after offering him good money. You need to search a person who knows how to do these settings in CDMA handsets.
