Till Now the winner is: BSNL Cellone. 1. U can call from Maharashtra as well as Mumbai as a local call 2. Incoming free in both the areas 3. Outgoing calls at same rate in both the areas 4. No Roaming Rentals I just want to knw one thing guys.. can u call to any maharashtra cell number other than Cellone from mumbai without prefixing zero from your landlines (MTNL/TATA pl specify)?

i again called CC, wht i got to know is tht 1. u can dial without 0 to any mobile in rest of maharashtra. 2. Incoming roaming charges still applies, thts when i go to Pune n recv a call, ill be charged Rs. 1.79per min. So effectively, u get discount only while making outgoin from bbay to rest of maharashtra. i have tata phones in off, so i want to ask u people of mumbai, what all mahaarashtra mobiles can be dialed from ur mtnl landlines without pre-fixing zero? Airtel, Mumbai is the second player after BPL, to announce loacal calling and FREE INCOMING WHILE ROAMING IN REST OF MAHARASHTRA. when will apna RIM announce this.. always late?

As of now, calls from mumbai landline are going to Maharashtra BSNL mobiles only. Reliance, Idea, BPL, Airtel not working. I suppose other way round are working i.e. Maharashtra landlines to Mumbai Mobiles...

even i called the CC sometime back, they told they are drafting the new tariff scheme and it will be out by 26th evening, im going to Pune day after tom, hope they waive off the incoming charges by then.. as of now, the old tariffs apply and the only change is in outgoing tariff and dailing procedure, which is clear to all.

i think it will be waived off but some rental will come in place.. as rental is also a source of revenue for the GSM providers, bt lets see.. BPL mobile has started the services of local dialing to rest of maharashtra from Mumbai.. lets see whn Reliance starts!

i just called to CC, as usal, these people dont hav any info abt merger of circles.. duffers!

that means 440 rcv would be for free calling throughout maharashtra including mumbai?? what will be the other benefits??? lets explore all...
