We all know about the practices followed by the big3 of telecom They all share the infrastructure Have hived off their towers together into a separate company Call/SMS rates are increased together They (Airtel/Vodafone) are imposing SMS termination charges on other operators Have got 3g Roaming pact Now my question is. Are they really working as a cartel? If so why CCI is not taking any action on the same? From my Idea postpaid experience. Most of the time in roaming it will latch on to Aircel Network or some other operator (apart from Airtel and Vodafone. Lower probability of latching onto Airtel Network ). Also the call rates are higher when latch on to Airtel. Is Idea being treated unfairly by Airtel? Is Airtel leading this cartel

Hi friends, I am being charged more for calls despite a recharge of 58 to have 1/2 paisa/sec calls. Airtel,Karnataka I have contacted serveral times Aritel Customer care but they are unable to find the reason why my plan keeps changing automatically. They told me the plan associated with my number, keeps changing automatically for reason they don't know. I have contacted customer care, their supervisor, nodal officer, etc. It's already over 1 week !! Since they took 58 but are not complying with what they promised, what should I do? Should I take them to consumer court? -

Airtel Postpaid GPRS and Unbilled Amount
sujit_k posted a topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
Does somebody know how to check the data usage and how the billing for 98GPRS Pack is done in Airtel? If I check via "unb" to 121 will it take the free usage into acc. or only at the time of billing? I mean to ask whether the usage will be added to unbilled (30p/50kb) although I have a data pack active ? or will there be no unbilled amount (like in reliance gsm) for data usage till the limit is reached? The reason I'm asking is because I have taken a new connection and my initial credit limit is only 1500.. If Airtel adds up the data usage to unbilled, then the unbilled amount will rise upto around 6000+ rs just for browsing, and as usual they will disconnect the i/c and o/g.. Any ideas? -
Hi, Is there a way to recharge airtel (prepaid) without going to dealer. For example, if I want to take sms pack of 52, can i do it online or through any menu (like tata docomo *141# to deduct from main balance) I find it irritating to go to dealer every month ! wish to do it like docomo does
