Exactly same as BSNL including the modem rentals.

Even RCL is providing BB wo phone line now. The rentals are Rs 299 for 1GB abnd 2mbps speeds and the second plan is similar. They even have 4.5MBPS speed plans for Rs 799 and 1499. Check RCL's website about this.

The modem rental is inbuilt in Rs 299. There is no need for telephone line. If in future we want it, we can ask them for it. RCL is cheaper than BSNL by Rs 11 per month. No idea about the speeds, though. Another thing their SE told me was that they install a new server for every 24 connections in any one area. This ensures the speeds are atleast 80% always. Thereotically it means you will always get 1.6mbps speeds. There is no installation charges if you provide bill copies of other ISPs in your name and address.

I wonder in which area RCL is having its broadband service? I am just 3KM from their headquarters DAKC, and they say they don't have services there.

My dear friends Youtele is a sister concern of CITI GROUP. No doubt, it can provide better services on lower rates. But as they recently started the services, their services are not available throughtout Mumbai. Only few areas like Colaba, Bandra, Andheri, Borivali are covered till now. Hope they will expand the network throughout the city, so that much more subscribers will get the benefit of this lower rates at magnificent speeds.

Regards.

they do provide service to other areas in mumbai too but then you have to pay them to bring it home..and the premium is exorbient. if there are more connections then the normal charges may apply.

YouTele are one of the biggest conmen of all time. They are Iqara broadband but with a different name!! Originally they provided services at a very high cost. Their services were horrible and that got them a lot of flak. So they decided to rebrand themselves as YouTele so that the bad PR just goes away.

Now they do provide 2Mbps speeds but then I'm not sure how good their uptime will be or how good their CC is!!

the CC is very good. it follows up with the others.

and i have to say something here.. i got to knoe these plans recently and posted them but i had called on them for their service before i opted for triband. then also thir area of operation was the same..only in bandra west not even the whole of bandra. and one of the distributer had asked me to pay for the cost of bringing the line to my home...

i cant believe it..til now.

the plans are good... but got to taste the service..

Then surely soon they will have to pack their bags my dear friends. They can't survive in the market without expanding their network.
